This is the week: the biggest game to be released on PlayStation 3 arrives this thursday, June 12.
It has been seven years since Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty baffled gamers with Raiden, Amoebas and immortal bisexual Vampires. Seven years of waiting to see Solid Snake's next move after photographing Ray on the USS Discovery. Seven years since watching him through the eyes of rookie, amnesiac, child soldier Raiden.
The wait has been so long due to a detour through a 60s era Cold War thriller in MGS3: Snake Eater (2004), providing major improvements to the series with CQC combat techniques and a 3D camera with the Subsistence re-release.
Metal Gear is possibly the most polarising of the big name titles in gaming these days, with cutscenes and codecs equally entertaining and annoying as many people. Still, it is the series that pioneered stealth gameplay, and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots looks to close the book on one of the most iconic videogame characters ever.

The best is yet to come
Well today is the day, GTA4 officially hits store shelves and every man and his dog is bound to pick it up. Lots of great heated arguments over which version is superior has been rife at the ranch the past week, lots of interesting information has come to surface and will continue to do so. But whether you own a ps3 or 360, both version are excellent and you can't go wrong with either version if you're stuck with just the 1 console, if you own both get the one your friends are all getting.

One of the big new additions to GTA is finally the addition of online multiplayer, I'm expecting to see a lot of people online and Mr Gun is gonna be leading the charge, so look forward to seeing you all online.

MS seem to have sorted out the crackdown beta download issue with a new update for crackdown, so fans should now be able to download the beta.
