Got my money ready for this. This one is a GOTY contender judging by reviews...

Good thing that they also packaged the first game free for those that missed out on the original. It may reach new audiences. Next up: nintendo buys the rights to publish shenmue 3 exclusive to wii u. (comes with 1 and 2 free in a trilogy boxset) Beat-em-up rpg will end up selling like shit, nintendo finally goes software only as they run out of money, and release all their games to apple devices.

polygon review disagrees it's a good game due to sexy content:
http://www.polygon.com/2014/10/13/69576 ... view-wii-u" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I won't guess why the blatant over-sexualization is still there, often more intensely than before. But it causes an otherwise great game to require a much bigger mental compromise to enjoy.
I love reviews that don't give a fuck about how good the gameplay is. This is the future of game industry: games that are awesome that get rated down because of bullshit reasons that has nothing to do with quality. No wonder they are working tirelessly to fight this gamer gate movement. These bullshitters love trying to wreck the game industry.
I won't guess why the blatant over-sexualization is still there, often more intensely than before. But it causes an otherwise great game to require a much bigger mental compromise to enjoy.
witches are pagans that use black magick to manipulate things like nature with supernatural help. Some of this involves sex magick rituals. Old religions of the past involved worshipping trees, (fertility godesses) phallic symbols(giant cocks indicating male generative power which is considered sacred because without the sperm humans can't reproduce), towers built to the heavens to get close to the fallen angels so humans could speak to them (nimrod semiramis tammuz being an unholy trinity - the tower of babel being one example which was used to reach the heavens to make man closer to the gods so he could talk to the angels and use them to gain power, while common man sat on the bottom with the lower beings for them to rule over) and having orgies. (you see temple prostitutes in many elder scrolls games for instance - the dibella cult is one group in the games) These are all forms of idol worship set up to trick mankind into worshipping himself as a replacement of God. It goes back to ancient times when people were simpler and made deals with evil spirits to gain an advantage over others in exchange for sacrifices of living things to prove they were willing to obey the will of the satanic minions who all worked together to replace the true God as a plot to overthrow the King of gods.

To christians these occult groups are considered the satanic counterfeit who conspired with satan to mock the one true God of Israel which explains why occult mystery religion is considered evil in the western society. (in the 80s dungeons and dragons and heavy metal were always attacked because of the encourage of kids to practice magick and satanism)

Do research into this. The sexy character is appropriate since witchcraft involves nudity.

These people need to stop picking on the japs and anime so much. Be more tolerant of other cultures ffs. Yes they make games like Dragon's Crown with sexy witches and give us male gamers eye candy in this type of game (senran kagura)and so do the americans (conan and God of War). But they also gave us castlevania order of eclesia, countless rpg games, and nobody notices when the females are non-sexualised. So don't encourage stereotypes ("all those anime games are just porn") you fucking cunts lol

We have seen this shit before by the mainstream media who always do it whenever there are school shooters who go on massacre and then the media profile all the teenage kids who like to play shooters and paint all of the young people as being somehow dangerous to society which then causes the parents to react to the scare and think thier kids are psycho for liking fun action games which have guns and violence in them, but who display no violent behavior in the real world.

This attack against sexy females in games is another form of this: first punish game companies from putting them in there, then associate fantasy with reality. "it's bad for children so lets protect adults from sexually liberated women in games by acting as moral authority for all gamers and lowering review scores when a game has sexy women in it. This will hopefully discourage them from adding in sexy people in the games."

It's pathetic. Can it. Review the game don't give lectures on fictional beings who don't even exist. We want more of these games if they are good, not less. Sex sells. That's why it was made. That's why you pay attention to what celebrities are up to in your mainstream news instead of the suffering of people in countries dying of diseases which are easily curable. If there wasn't the profit from the sale of it, they would have died off already due to lack of people buying. Artists need to be free to express. If they want the main character to be sexy, or strong, or submissive, or a loli, so be it. Who are you to judge whether a game is good or bad if you think witches or sexually liberated characters who have big titties are offensive to you? If you had fun playing it, that is what matters the most. Just boycott buying the game. Simple as that. Don't rate down a game even if it high grade quality and the best action you've seen. That is being plain dishonest and we don't want you as our representatives in the game community since we want artists to have freedom, not bullied by pc thugs.

We wouldn't have games like GTA where you play as a bad guy) if they had to obey politically correct guidelines. Expression needs to be protected.

I'd say the sexy (because she isn't sexualised, the reviewer sexualised her) is in there because Bayo is a feminist. The game never allows the player to control any form of sexualisation and it is Bayo herself that directs the camera and allows the gamer to see what she wants them to see. She is sexy, not sexualised.

ozgameshop have the Australian Edition (with B1) shipped from Australia for $68. Not sure if the 10% code still works STRIKE but if so $61.80 is abargain.

bought mine from local eblizards by price matching them to jb. $ 69

The game sold out there.

As for polygon review, it is plain unfair score and they know they have lost cred amoungst real gamers who don't care how juvenile a game is and just plays based on quality. Games are not art retards. Stop trying to pander to film critics. Stop assuming everyone who plays games are adults who want serious stories. Heroes are not ordinary people. It's fantasy. They are not representing reality so stop saying that fictional characters are bad representations of women in real life - that is not the aim! It's fantasy! Fictional characters can do what they want. They can act realistic, do ridiculous stuff and not follow a formula of tradition unless the artists/creators wants that. (which is boring to many people and why people read comics to escape from reality in the first place) Good gameplay is paramount in determining whether we care about a game enough to buy. 7.5 my arse. hehe They are ignorant of what people want from reviews. ie tell us about the game not soapbox about why you don't kike overseualised characters. That's like giving a game with cartoon graphics bad score because it looks kiddy but the gameplay is better than most adult games with mature themes. Being shallow and basing judgment on insignificant cosmetic shit like how appealing the characters clothes are or whether you would like them if they were real pisses me off.

Shallow games with no gameplay are shit. Deep games with fun gameplay are good. Concentrate.. it's not that hard to review. The meat of a game is gameplay. Talk about that and judge on that more so readers have some understanding about it's actual quality and value as a game. Good fun game getting shit score based on tiny cosmetic thing that doesn't affect enjoyment = bad review.

Finished Bayonetta 1 and am now on to Bayonetta 2 :) what a ride. Only played basically what was covered in the demo so far but it's been a blast and I'm probably going to get into it tomorrow.

After finishing the first game and unlocking hard mode there was a little itch to just not stop, forgot how fun unlocking all the stuff again was, challenging the tougher difficulties etc. I'll get stuck in to Bayonetta 2 in that way though, since it's all a new and fresh and maybe come back to the original down the track.

I just noticed the huge vagina behind the squirrel. I'm sitting there thinking "oh how cute, a squirrel" and then BAM! Vagina. Did the squirrel fall out of the vagina? Did it fight its way out? Is it getting sucked in? This picture "presents" many questions.
