I have to say, I'm really impressed with R* Table Tennis. There's no way in hell I would pay more than, say, $30 for it. But when it cost the same as an XBLA title, it's completely worth it. Quite deep gameplay mechanics, but unfortunately not many game modes... no career mode or create-a-player options :(

Still, $10. Fucking stoked.

Bloody hell I wish we had a half-decent DSE nearby :(
Currently playing: Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition (PC), Far Cry 4 (PC), FIFA 23 (Series X)

Oh man I was at one of my local DSE Powerhouse's (of the 4 or so within 15 minutes of my place :D) a bit over a week ago (just before this sale I assume). And most of them are now out of stock of the decent games :(

I might still duck up during my lunch break to the Chatswood one and see if they have anything, and then hopefully check out the others on my way home...

Typical though - I'm always checking my DSE's whenever I'm out as I know they quite often have crazy sales, yet I always miss out...

Gahh stupid DSE selling the limited edition of Forza 2 for $20 yet still selling the standard edition for $40.

Limited edition was sold out of course, and they wouldn't budge on the price of the standard edition. Which is fair enough, as I know the kids that work there have no real say in the price.

Just annoying, that's all.

Anyway, I picked up Crackdown for $25. Nothing too special price wise, but I couldn't walk away with nothing. I did almost pick up DOA Extreme 2, but my brain said no :lol:

Managed to grab DiRT and Dead Rising for $20 each on my way home. The idiot working there didn't believe me, and just kept pointing to the $50 sticker on the cases - "No no no, there's no games clearance". I told him to check the website about 3 times before he finally did :lol:

Was hoping for COD2 but can't complain!

Now I need to send my 360 off for repair so I can play them :lol:

If anyone is after Lego Indiana Jones, region free asian versions (360 and PS3) can be bought from Play Asia for just over $50 AU.

I grabbed a copy for the 360 :)

Shit games A-GO-GO!

:P

I've heard that it is so so. Kinda short, and limited due to the controls of Indy. Whip and fists don't really beat a light sabre or a blaster. I'll just knock it over one weekend and just be happy for the cut scenes.

I think that's because it was probably the catch of the day a while ago. The day it was a catch of is long gone.

Appears fine for me *shrug*

edit: it's HD ready, I wouldn't bother;

CONIA 32 Inch Widescreen Plasma TV

RRP$999, HDMI, 1080i Ready*, LG Panel Fitted!

Limited Quantity Available at this CRAZY Price!

Faster Response Time than LCD - Great for Sports! Action!

Why compromise your viewing experience any longer? Bite today and pickup a beautiful 32 Inch Plasma TV – HD Ready*, HDMI input, for just $478. I’ll say it again - a 32 Inch Plasma TV – HD Ready*, HDMI input, for just $478? That’s unbelievable. Put one in your kids room, bedroom, lounge, kitchen - wherever!

Why do many prefer Plasma TV's? The beautiful contrast ratio (sharp blacks), uber response time (perfect for watching sports - think olympics) and large viewing angle and high performance picture quality.

We are talking about the kind of flat panel that would cost you upwards of $999 normally. It is, simply, an AMAZING price. Stop dreaming of flat panel bliss, today’s catch price makes owning your own flat panel widescreen TV a no brainer! Enjoy an ultrasharp image, courtesy of the LG panel built in at an ultra LOW Price!

* Beautiful 32 Inches of screen real estate – That’s 80cm!
* Aspect ratio: 16:9
* HDTV compatibility: 1080i/720p*
* HDMI input
* Contrast Ratio: 5000:1
* Brightness: 550cd/m
* Built in Analog TV Tuner
* Viewing angle (H/V): 170
* Resolution: 852 x 480 pixels
* PC input: VGA/SVGA/XGA/WXGA
* AV/S-VIDEO/YPbPr input
* 10W speakers
* Full function remote control
* Speakers and desktop stand included

Why spend another day staring into that dull, tiny old TV you bought years ago. Today is the perfect opportunity to join the big league. 32 inch plasma for just $478? WILD! That’s all folks, enjoy your new TV’s!

QQQ
Might as well spend a little bit more and get something that is actually HD.

I would rather go for the Sony on sale at Kmart at the moment - $999 for 37" on the latest catalogue.

1080i/720p is actually okay for a 32" - good for a 2nd TV anyway. Comon, it's less than $500.

Well if you want to get technical it's actually a "Small Fish", which means it's not for any specific day.
