Not really.
If there's more than wii style shovel ware possibly.

I happy enough without it for now.
Just standing up watching the dream deck demos I can get twisted in the cable. Still think roomscale needs a wireless hmd. And I'd rather a 4k one before we start sacrificing for wireless.

Sonic Adventure. That level where you ran down the side of a building. Also, Crazy Taxi, where you launched down that first of the big hills.

Grab that OR version of Elite, Candy. I need some :unbiased:

Not that you'd be biased Kanga, it might be better to hear some impressions before buying space euro truck simulator. I can only imagine it being amazing if you love the idea of space flight and dog fighting and fucking smashing it out there in the expanses of our galaxy..or avoiding populated areas and never seeing anyone (real) EVER, but living with the possibility. Or finding out where people do go and landing on populated orbital stations or planetary outposts and pretending you're kind of a big deal over in the Yavin system.

I plan to grab ED in the next steam sale. Space flight games just aren't me enough to spend more than a lobster ($20) on it.

I've ended my month-long dummy spit and cancelled my concurrent Vive preorder haha. Back on the Rift bandwagon. Cheaper, more exclusive games, can use it with the Vive's SteamVR but you can't use the Vive with the Oculus Store without hacks that I'm sure they'll crack down on hard.

The wait is hard.
Currently playing: Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition (PC), Far Cry 4 (PC), FIFA 23 (Series X)

Tempted to buy one off eBay, but I think I'm going to hold back - he said he could do it for $1750. I don't even have the gpu ready for it.

OK so it's with Fed Ex, and the only reason I know this is because Fed Ex messaged me saying it's being delivered today!

Project Cars oculus rift video in link.
We’ve been witnessing a prodigious heat increase among gaming enthusiasts ever since Slightly Mad Studios announced the adoption of the Oculus Rift VR headset into Project CARS, introducing the breakthrough of virtual reality technology into the world of driving games. The tried-and-true method of comparing still images isn’t sufficient these days; here you have to monitor vehicles in motion to truly perceive the magnitude of this technology. We recently reported about Oculus Rift experiments on Assetto Corsa and DiRT Rally and now it is time to see how this virtual reality item works in conjunction with Project CARS.

Youtube user GamerMuscle openly shared personal hands-on impressions of the hardware and its utility in Project CARS. If you would like to see how open-wheel machines thrust through the air, all while the driver is being immersed in the action to an almost-unbelievable level, watch the video above.

Candy, impressions of the porn vr or whatever else you tried?

Holy fucking shit are my impressions.

I've been gaming since the early 80s and nothing has had a first impression like this.

And that's just the demos at the start after you've configured it!

Stunned. Blown away. Amazed. Insert hyperbole here and it's accurate.
