Knowing the sensitive fucktards at GAF, they'll be claiming "cultural appropriation" due to Mario wearing a Mexican sombrero. Maybe they'll boycott the game too...

Actually that's already started. I have seen multiple negative posts over at GAF regarding the Mexican world and Mario's Mexican costume within the game.

Wow Nintendo are racist as fuck. The Mexican Mario theme offends me. I won't support racists so until this is patched out of the game I won't be buying a Switch.
I absolutely wanted Metroid Prime 4, but the only way I'll play it in the forseeable future is on PC. I will not be buying a console supported by racists.
I still really don't like the aesthetic of Odyssey. Still giving Sonic Adventure vibes abound.
I've watched a playthrough of the Mexican sands town and the Forest Kingdom and haven't seen any mind-blowing gameplay. Game is looking a bit bare imo.
I will be all over that Zelda DLC two weeks from now, however. Very hyped for that Trial of the Sword challenge.
How on earth could you be having doubts about an EAD Tokyo developed Mario game?
EAD Tokyo have literally NEVER developed a bad game - let alone a bad Mario game (Super Mario Galaxy / Super Mario Galaxy 2 / Super Mario 3D Land / Super Mario 3D World - were all excellent games).
Also remember Super Mario 3D World's unveiling/playable demo at E3 a few years back, and people were hating on the game for looking a little dull...only for the game to then be released a few months later and blow people away?
Nintendo only ever show VERY little of their 3D Mario games before release (even on the E3 show-floor right now with Super Mario Odyssey, only a handful of levels within only 2 kingdoms are being demoed).
This game is fucking HUGE. People are calling it Mario's own Breath of the Wild...and it seems true (a large & vast 3D open world Mario game like we have never seen before).
Actually when I looked at the comments on capcom's MvC Infinite I was worried that they all hate the graphics on the game and think the previous MVC (MVC3) was better.
Candy You should be worried about this.
DragonBall Z actually steals all the best stuff from a MvC game and uses the Dragon Ball Z characters to boost its sales and on top of all this it doesn't look like a cheap mobile phoine game. (I'm sorry guys I am a capcom fan too but MVCI does look cheap imo) Part of the reason I like it is that it has the Guilty Gear style hand drawn looks to it with flat shaded colours like in animes.
PLEASE CAPCOM Go back to the cartoon look again and not the toyetic look! (no ink effect)
And nintendo: try to get this game on the Switch. You already had the previous Dragon Ball Z fighting game by ArcSys
Works on the 3DS so I don't understand why this new one shouldn't be on the Switch.
Anyway after looking at videos of this game on youtube:
...capcom is pretty much doomed if they have to compete with these guys. First Guilty Gear outclasses SF5 with its style and modes, then this comes out just when people are about to get back into MvC style fighting games again. I get now why they needed to make SF5 exclusive: because they are unable to fund the franchise anymore and are turning the seris into a free to play thing where you buy new characters to keep the series alive.
I will probably spend more time on DBZ than MvC I. Capcom needs to listen to its fans. KOF could get away with shit graphics because the guy behind it was not as good at making 3D graphics as 2D so he had a legit excuse and made up for it with more content. But capcom needs to step up its game if it wants to stay relevent in the fighting game scene. Tekken 7 is breathing down their neck and now Bandai Namco with DBZ made by ArcSysWorks is going to do the killing blow.
They had the right idea with Tatsunoko vs Capcom of keeping the cartoon shaded look instead of the shiny look. Nobody seems to like the shiny look in youtube comments. Try to emulate Arc SysWorks capcom. And after you gain skill you can do HD Remake of Street Fighter 3 using 3D CG models with toon shaded graphics but with cutscenes that look like they are straight out of an anime. (on Switch of course)

Much more impressed with Mario now versus what we'd seen earlier, and Metroid Prime 4 = Switch purchase, even if it was just a logo and the theme music.
