Actually, can I get some kind of rift related flair?

Something like 'MasterRift' yeah, make my title 'MasterRift'.

Imagine wearing a stormtrooper outfit, with a rift built in playing Battlefront 2.

I guess it doesn't really matter where you get your fiber from, as long as you get it, your bowel says "thanks".

Ok so it's been nearly 2 months since I ordered the DK2?

Nothing so far, apparently I can expect to wait until as late as November/December til it arrives? There's a big backlog, they're only just shipping the stuff from april/june, so...

I was going to cancel cos I was kinda pissed and the new model has been showing up around the place and it's a lot better.

But my friend is also super keen and he missed an ebay auction for one by like $5/2 seconds.

So I think I'm going to hang on to my order and we'll share or something.

It's called 'Crescent Bay'. It's not actually available yet, but this gives a better idea of what the consumer version would be like. (It has complete 360 tracking and a higher res, higher refresh rate screen)

Apparently the consumer version will be completely wiresless. It's only around the corner too! Apparently a consumer version could be on sale by this time next year.

Here's a link to the 'Australian Delivery' thread on the Occulus website. Bunch of people sharing when they get a shipping confirmation (and the day they ordered) so you can tell when you might receive yours.

I ordered on the 8th of August, and the latest delivery in this thread was for someone who ordered on the 10th of June. So it might be as many as 2 more months until mine is shipped, then maybe even another month for delivery. Maybe I will get it for Christmas!

That would be cool.

Definitely the go.

I think wireless will be a biggie. Wireless with 360 headtracking.

Australian Oculus orders shot straight up to the 30th of july which is only 8 days from the 8th of August, I think the next batch which might be in two weeks will cover mine
