I was having a bitch about MS Store prices the other day and while they do suck it would be cool to buy a play anywhere game on PC and see it in your XB1 library. Is it that easy, PC + XB1 gamers?

Yep thats the point pep, I bought Cuphead on MS store. $29, steam is $25 after conversion(~$5 extra), but I was able to play on my PC and Xbox with my save game sync'd through the cloud.

So really that's the benefit, I've lost track the number of times I've double dipped on games, this saves me money in the long run and I get the excellent convenience of being able to play on the desktop or lounge and not lose any progress.

It works out good for me sometimes because the kids are hogging the xbone or I want to play the game at 144hz with better input lag, sometimes I just want to chill on the couch.

It's a great idea and slowly ms are fixing the problems.

Crimson skies works pretty good, it's aged pretty well, still fun to play.

I wonder if adding US store credit to my account and then switching my xbox to US region, if that will let me buy it. That's what I do to buy US games now, buying through the web doesn't work work anymore.

I couldn't even get to the payment part. You get to the game purchase screen and you click on the "Show Price" button (like a 360 game) and it just comes up with a window saying "... not available in your region". So I didn't even get to the point of being able to choose a method of payment.

Sounds like a pain.

Game pass way is the easiest way to play it

This is actually fucking hilarious because the Xbox One was NEVER supposed to be a gaming system, but instead a must have "television set top box" (that also happens to play games) and requiring a monthly subscription fee to be paid to make full use of the set top box features.

Problem is Microsoft's set top box ambitions catastrophically failed along with Kinect. Remember...it was Microsoft's sickening strategy to collect millions in advertising dollars by forcing Kinect's camera & microphone to remain always on and collecting data about Xbox customers (for Microsoft to then sell to advertisers in exchange for $$$).

I look forward to the imminent failure of the Xbox One X to join Kinect in the very long list of Microsoft's many failed products.

Apple's iPad has enjoyed phenomenal success since its launch on April 2, shifting some three million units in just 80 days.

Fyi Jasper it was confirmed on Whirlpool that MS brought in more stock for launch. Hence why preorders opened up again a few days ago.

There are no game bundles so that seems to suggest demand is good. I'm in 2 minds whether to get mine, I really want a game bundled in, especially when I see AC origins being thrown in with one s units.
