I think Sunset Overdrive appeared on one of Amazon's international sites for PC. If it does indeed come out I'll definitely be picking it up. 1080p/60fps*

So, Halo MCC and FH2 arrived today. My first two disc-based 'bone games. Please allow me to relate my experience as somebody new to this.


First World Issues

On the upside, you have FH2.

Please check the MNR thread to know what cars you'll need. Keep certain cars stock or at least save their stock setting.

My initial impression of Xbone was also quite poor. I certainly see this gen (both XB1 and PS4) as a hump in our gaming journey but a year after launch it's better than it was for Xbots.

Yep I'm getting that issue heaps and I have no idea what it's about, I'm guessing the game tries to connect to all members of the match and if one fails you get that error. Could be other users with nat issues ruining it for all of us.

MCC has been a huge letdown and I think 343 have done harm to the halo brand from this fiasco.

Between stuttering last gen ports and broken games with 50GB patches, I'm getting close to being done with consoles. WTF happened to plug and play, Nintendo seal of quality gaming? That's the whole point of consoles, it's all become too PC like without the benefits PCs provide.

We wanted to provide you with an update on what we’re seeing as a result of yesterday’s content update (CU). We realize that silence and opacity, even when we have nothing new to say, is frustrating. With each change and/or update we make, it takes time for us to capture and analyze the data to determine the tangible impact to the game experience. Additionally, we've already begun work on future updates which will be informed by the data and community feedback we’re seeing from yesterday’s CU.

Our data shows that the CU improved things statistically, but we are aware that far too many are not seeing improvements. We continue to work on these issues, with our primary focus being on matchmaking performance. Additionally, we also noticed that the CU inadvertently introduced some new UI bugs, which will be fixed shortly.

For now, you will continue to see uneven match-ups and larger than normal team sizes in matchmaking. This is a temporary situation that is caused by the fact that we are allowing more players than normal into a matchmaking session in order to improve overall matching times. We realize this is not ideal, and we will reset those parameters to their expected behavior as soon as our matchmaking improves to a level where players are consistently getting into matches in shorter time frames. Additionally, in yesterday’s patch notes, we announced that parties would no longer be split after a matchmaking session, and we’re aware that this bug has regressed. This issue, along with others, will be addressed in the coming content updates. We’ll be monitoring feedback and data over the weekend, and will provide an update on Monday regarding our progress.

Moving forward, we will continue to post the details of our fixes on Waypoint in order to keep you updated with the latest information. Don't know what they are doing, their fix was to release restrictions on who can be matched, so rank, location etc isn't factored.
They don't know what the problem is, this is a long way from being fixed

Plus if you haven't played many Wii games, there are a lot of great titles that look even better on the WiiU.

Went to JB and EB and resisted the urge to buy into the next gen... even with convincing myself that I could have a console at work to play during the quiet off peak times.

Came home with Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II. $30 well spent and plenty of gaming to be had.. to get me up to speed with Dragon Age so that I can pop my next gen cherry with Inquisition! Huzzah!

Great games. I can understand people's disappointment with 2 as it can feel like a different game but the characters are pretty cool.
