I dunno, it's basically made me play less and less since 2k16, the load times inbetween etc and just the grinding to force me to buy took away my love of the game.

I tried it out on PC this morning, the game selected 4k ultra for me automatically, cranked at rock solid 60fps and simply is the most beautiful racer I've ever played. OMG!

I can't wait to play it more later when I get home from work.

60fps mode on one X looking solid.

Looks like playground have reworked their engine to be significantly more efficient on CPU, PC version is hitting close to 200fps!!! on a 4 core/thread intel cpu.





Fable is in good hands.

Gave it a bash on the Xbox last night, this game sure does look phenomena at 4k. Can't wait for the next chapter in the best car racing series ever...

What camera does everyone use? In FH3 I used cockpit, but most of the videos I’ve seen of FH4 show behind the car.

I swap between cockpit, bonet and the bumper view. Never use behind the car view. I noticed they have 2 cockpit views this time.

oh wait sorry...Bumper for Forza and behind the car view for FH. Horizon needs you to see what's going on around you because of the varied terrain, other drivers and the fact that it's an arcade racer. Much like behind car view suits GTA. Forza offers a more realistic experience and doesn't normally require rear car view.

Horizon is a game I always struggle to settle on a camera position.

Forza is always cockpit. Forza is a better racer.

I'd probably take the 1080/60 though. 30 fps in a 2018 racer... seriously.

I can’t max out my connection downloading from the Microsoft store on PC. This demo, plus the FH3 and demo, I was only getting roughly 50mbps, where as on steam I maxing my connection. How is it for everyone else?

People were complaining about 30fps racers back in 2003 too and funnily enough it was one of GR/PNs favorite racers.

You would be a brave person to skip on Horizon 4, it looks fantastic l. I played three on and off since launch and the content dlc was great, one of the most fun I have had with a racer since PGR 2.

My worry as well i finding the time as any car game like this I lose the wheel to my 5 year old if he sees it.

Mouse/Keyboard support coming to xbox, warframe looks to be the first to support it.
