The new diablo game is a stupid mobile game made by people who make diablo knock-offs lol

hilarious that these companies don't know what consumers want. (releasing diablo 3 to switch was one of the good ideas though) I'm proud of the fans for bashing them as the future of gaming is not playing on tiny mobile when people would rather play on the big screen. It's like replacing all future mario games with crappy mobile mario games because mobile 'needs respect'.

Oh well at least capcom released a sequel to megaman so there is hope.

Sunset Overdrive make its way to PC!

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has rated the Insomniac Games-developed open-world action adventure game Sunset Overdrive for PC.

The new rating follows a PC rating from the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea back in May.

This is a third-person shooter in which players assume the role of a young survivor battling through a mutant apocalypse. As players traverse the open-world of Sunset City, they use assault rifles and fantastical weapons (e.g., grenade launchers that shoot teddy-bear bombs, guns that shoot fireworks) to kill mutant creatures, robots, and occasional human enemies. Combat is highlighted by frequent explosions, screams of pain, and gunfire. Some explosives cause enemies to be dismembered, leaving limbs around the environment; one cutscene briefly depicts a character’s head cut off by a mutant. During the course of the game, characters and environmental elements reference sexual behavior or humor (e.g., “Oh, such a bold statement! It says, ‘I am a prostitute!’” and “How hard was it to make a porn flip book?” ); a radio ad contains a running joke about a sex burger (e.g., “It’s so good you won’t be able to contain your urges to rub it all over your Sex…Burger”). The dialogue contains a handful of drug references (e.g., “You guys have been eating weed” and “Oh, when I get back with your drugs, we’ll discuss my offense at your assumption that I would know where to find drugs”). The words “f**k” and “sh*t” also appear in dialogue.

BLizzard in damage control mode after angry reaction to Diablo Immortal being mobile-only title:

lol They announce it right after admitting to prefer milking the mobile market for that sweet lootbox money. We have to ignore these companies and pull all money from them as a confirmation that until they listen to the fans, then there is no money coming to them. It's the only language that makes the suits listen.

In the mean time people should buy alternative to the diablo games to show they are ot interested in future games being mobile games. Much like Fallout fans not showing interest anymore in fallout after seeing that FO76 is an online-only game. The fact is it's a betrayal. You take a popular franchise, then place the franchise name on something shitty in hopes the fans will flock to the shitty thing and like the shitty thng just because it has the name attached to it. It's disgusting behavior. Just let the shitty thing exist under a different name or at just a side story game instead. (like Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball games which are the non-fighting game series) By calling it Diablo you cheapen the name of the original franchise by letting the shit games define what the franchise is about. Listen to me if you wish to survive this. The best advice is to split up diablo into things like the main series, the side games (which are clearly not mistaken as the mainseries games), and then spin-off stuff. (new games based on things within the diablo world/universe but that do not share the gameplay of main series) Capcom sucessfully did this with megaman title: main series was on NES, another main series was created for SNES with the "X" series, and then many different games with the megaman name were created such as megaman zero, megman ZX, megaman starforce, megaman battle network, megaman neo etc) There is no confusion over what each megaman game is because the titles all have unique subtitle to indicate it's seperate from the main series titles on the NES. (where the hardcore gamers flock to because these retro games are the more-difficult and deep in terms of gameplay physics)

This is what happens when feminists and communists take over the multi billion videogame industry and leech it of all the goodness that once existed inside of it. Much like a demon possessed lesbian witch that transformed into a tentacled monster using black magick and captured a dozen innocent japanese high school anime cheerleaders and made them into sex-hungry nymphomaniacs whose mission is to collect the sperm for the development of a monster army to rule the world by replacing man with their mind controlled monster rapist hybrid kids. All while falsely accusing normal guys of rape to prevent man from breeding out of fear of the #metoo movement and letting the demon army outnumber normal man and accusing them of being monster-phobic and bashing Doom games for not going along with the SJW.

We’re in a critical phase of PC gaming that our survival is really in question.

There is generally a feeling that there’s something happening.

People have been exposed of course to the whole concept of microtransactions, to mobile gaming, to early access.

The doomsday clock keeps moving closer.

don't forget to boycott all the sites that are anti-gamergate too. They are act like they are entitled to our respect despite being shills for the corporations regardless of if the corporations are watering down game series in favour of shallow titles aimed at kids. No different to when fans of star wars rightly bashed George Lucas for making star wars too kid-friendly (instead of staying neutral) when the prequel trilogy movies were made with burp and fart humuor in them. (yes at that stage in his life the franchise was more about the money and toys imo not the messages)

We know when something jumps the shark when a crucial ingredient is missing. Eg when diablo 3 took a more light tone compared to the original 2 games in terms of graphics. Or when GTA became too simmy and less action gamey and "cool". Or when physics are taken out of jumping in sonic games. These little things stick out like a sore thumb to hardcore fans of games. The casuals just don't understand them. That is why they can come off as entitled brats when really they just have better analytical minds than the other guy from years of playing the games. If thier money is what kept a series alive then companies should pay attention. When they leave to play other series of games, your games will begin to collapse. (we already started seeing cracks in blizzard's armor in the "online-only games" phase of their life when you can't play a game offline and forced to be spied on every second so they can collect data on the customer - it's spyware. Nobody liked it and it means you don't feel like you are in control of your purchased items which robs you o the feeling that you own the game rather be a mere user of a game as long as the server exists. That sense of owning things is important to customers. (and the reason people like retail disc purchases of indie titles because it feels like it's yours more than the digital version even though it costs the fan more money)

He should get a bunch of satanists and witches to summon a powerful demon to hex the company so the mobile game fails miserably and that convinces them to cancel it. Not sure if that shit worked on Trump but it might work on blizzard which is getting shittier these days. Warhammer Chaosbane marketing stunt take advantage of disappointing fan reaction to Diablo Immortal:

Nobody is going to play Diablo Immortal when there are no skeletons in it. China bans skeletons. Have you guys seen how popular the karate kid skeleton costume for Fortnite is on youtube? Any games that let you see skeletons should place that as a bullet point on the back of box for their game. Also put a sticker on it saying: "Caution: not suitable for feminist women, children from single mothers who pay to win, or mobile phone gamers from china due to toxic levels of masculinity and involvement of white men in creation of game. Contains high gore animation unlike Diablo Immortal."

This will make the game seem a lot more cool to people who are bitter at blizzard for betraying them. Also within the game isa baddie that asks you: "Don't you have phones?!?" just before dying. And then you loot them to get a phone to play a diablo immortal clone within the game. (easter egg like the games in animal crossing. It's a full game which is actually better and deeper than Diablo Immortal but without the tiny screen...with an eventual release to REAL mobile phones later to compete against the chinese game hahah)

This is great news, PoE is taking advantage of Blizzard's abandonement of diablo fans:

I think all the diablo clones should unite and make a shared universe to take down blizzard. It's just not enough if you make clones. You got to surpass them if you want to save the game industry from the lootbox trend in gaming. Grim Dawn, Torchlight, Chaos Bane, Warframe etc
Because there is no Diablo 2 remastered, the next best thing is to reboot Diablo by creating something as close to it under new name.
Much like Dark Souls/Demon Souls/Bloodborne are linked up. If the little guys compete with each other they make the big guy happy. But if the little guys unite they compete with the big guy more and have better chance of driving them out of the consciousness of the gaming community. People are looking for alternatives. Whoever dominates the loot game now can potentially rule this spot.

If you don't kill blizzard in this space the lootbox shit will be normalised:

Mobile gaming must die for PC gaming (and the console ports) to live. Pay to win is damaging to gaming as a hobby. A town hall meeting needs to happen to figure out how to kill the greedy giants so they don't make games based on how much they can rape your bank accounts. lol The drop in confidence in blizzard (causing people to want to find some alternatives) is a beautiful thing for all gamers. "They thought they were immortal." We must show them that they are not. (only nintendo is)

Apparently the latest windows update fixes the DX12 problems seen above, it also adds support for RTX Ray tracing.

Although RTX is a massive performance killer.
