 Already killed on Steam reviews. Serves them right!

Speaking of killed on Steam reviews, I'm absolutely loving Batman Arkham Knight. It's so much better than Arkham City. I was worried that the Batmobile would be a bit of a gimmick that took away from things, it actually makes the game better.

The predator encounters have been vastly improved upon with more anti-Bats tactics that can be employed against you.

Getting a refund. And I was really looking forward to this game.

It's also very blurry at native resolution.

Holy shit.

Explains why review copies weren't sent out prior to release. Another game released on fire!

Do Valve/Steam take a transaction fee for refunds?

Cool. Was curious as to whether Valve profited from the misery of botched launches.

Mafia is another open world game to suffer a 30fps cap, the cap is probably there to hide the fact like Arkham/horizon/watchdogs it probably suffers from stuttering at higher framerates.

Clearly getting open world games with high levels of detail to stream smoothly at high framerates is not trivial regardless of the increased power/performance PC has. People might bring up GTA5 but that took them years to release on PC and I believe rockstar really had to rework the engine to get performance up to PC expectations.

Just interesting that all these recent bad ports are open world based and it's stuttering that's the deal breaker.

It's clearly a bad port. Even the video options are bare bones. Very little customisation, just medium, low, high for like shadows/AO/AA, etc. Another issue is it's very blurry. I don't know if that's a result of their AA implementation or its rendering method like QB.

Looks like Zen is finally going to launch early next year.

Might be time to finally upgrade the old 2500k.

Jumping to AMD? I'll hold out for the reviews. My last AMD CPU was 10 years ago.

If zen is the goods, yeah why not.

Gears 4 has a pretty cool benchmark utility. No cpu issues here, pretty much Gpu bound, which is good to see imo.

It's a officeworks job. Solid and plenty big enough to let me move my wheel to the side when I'm not using it. http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/offi ... m-jbashdsk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

All done and set up.... I do have a question for the experts though.

The PC is still saying 1080p is the native display even though it switches no problems to 4K/60hz for some reason it's just not picking it up as they native resolution? Any ideas why?

I've tried changing the cable etc and booting it without my Rift connected etc and still no dice?

No big deal just annoying.
