Batman : Arkham Knight

The developer that made Arkham a household name is back. Rocksteady Studios' Arkham Asylum innovated with the freeflow combat system and stalking gameplay in 2009, and the team blew it all out to an open world in 2011's Arkham City. Rocksteady is hoping to raise the bar even higher on what will be its final Arkham game. Set after the events of Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Knight may just end the Dark Knight's journey.

As you've probably guessed from the cover imagery, the Batmobile is finally a core element of the gameplay. An entirely new area of Gotham City, far larger than Arkham City, has much wider streets to accommodate the new driving gameplay that is designed to integrate smoothly with Batman's gliding and grappling traversal. Batman chases down super villains Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, and more.

Arkham Knight will release later this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
At least Rocksteady are doing it and it looks like we get the bat mobile too

I'm in, but the open world stuff isn't as good as the tight confines from Asylum.

Still, next-gen Batman (well, next-gen on PC as opposed to 900p 30fps on joke consoles) sounds good...one more go around as Batman.

Conroy's back! Really hope the Batmobile integration is handled well, but I reckon Rocksteady will nail it. Fuck Origins.

Kinda looks like a stealth fighter jet with all those triangular parts. Is he invisible to radar?

Yeah, I had it pre-ordered (pre-purchased in fact) with birthday gift cards.

Have yet to receive an email from EB but I will take my refund and run. I'll wait for the GOTY Edition now, only reason I preordered was for the Batmobile.
Currently playing: Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition (PC), Far Cry 6 (PC), FIFA 21 (Series X), TimeSplitters 2 (Series X BC)

Looks to have a pretty rock solid framerate on PS4.
I expect the PC version to run 60+ frames easy.

Combat cracks me up in this game, it's like he's dancing with them and switching partners.

Heh, so it turns out there were two collector's editions, one with a Batman statue, one with the Batmobile, and I bought the one with the Batman statue with my birthday vouchers, so it's still on it's way!

Yep, game looks dope, I'm actually thinking of buying it and I'm not really a batman fan but I did play and enjoy the first Batman game made by rocksteady on pc few years back.
I would imagine combined with the great motion blur they've added, playing this on 60fps or above will melt your eyes. I haven't touched the witcher 3 for over a week now, or well anything gaming related, and this looks like something that will be a great alternative to the witcher 3 ( which I obviously need to get back into)

I will be going retail with this. Big W has it for $69 but their sale starts on the 24th of june, which is one day after the release.. :/
