I'm interested to see how the xbone performs.

But looking at how much content has been cut out due to dlc I'll wait for a game of the year edition and maybe I'll have a ps4 by then.

Both perform the same and batmobile experiences frame drops in the low 20s and screen tearing.

So much for that tour de force, not impressed. GOTY edition $5 on steam it is.

Reduced resolution... It still looks beastly.

I think I'd need to see them running side by side on the same tv setup. But yeah... I think you'd be happy if you got it on either console.

GOTY edition for me I think.

We are continuously monitoring all threads posted in the Official Batman: Arkham Knight Community and Steam forums, as well as any issues logged with our Customer Support (support.wbgames.com). If you purchased your copy of the game and are not satisfied wit h your experience, then we ask for your patience while these issues are resolved. If desired, you can request a refund at help.steampowered.com (Steam refund policies can be found here: http://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) or the retail location where you purchased the game.

The Batman: Arkham fans have continually supported the franchise to its current height of success, and we want to thank you for your patience as we work to deliver an updated version of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC so you can all enjoy the final chapter of the Batman: Arkham series as it was meant to be played.

Why in the hell do we need to give feedback to these guys? We aren't play testers- we purchased the fucking game in the knowledge they'd test it for us and release a high quality, non buggy game. This is the problem with the majority of video games these days unfortunately... I mean, are we getting paid now to do their jobs for them???

It's pretty funny -

They didn't ship PC code to reviewers. Now they're acting surprised re: the feedback they've received for the PC version.

They knowingly shipped a fucked game and are somehow surprised at the backlash. This isn't like an online game where you test the servers as best as you can but it goes gangbusters on day 1 and the servers melt down, this is a single player game where you put it out knowing it looks and runs like shit even on the top-end hardware.

All Batman games to this point had been incredible on PC, premium experiences. Fuckwits have killed their credibility. If it ever gets patched up to scratch I'll buy it at Christmas for $4 in the Steam sale. If it was a console-only game I'd gladly go and buy the superior PS4 version, but on principle alone all of them can kiss my candy arse.

There is a rumor going round that Iron Galaxy was given 8 weeks to do the conversion. This certainly would explain the quality of the port.

I guess if there is a plus side is that it is a bit of a watershed moment for pc gaming. Consumers are voting with their dollars and demanding refunds through Steam (this being one the first big AAA games being sold with the refund feature in Steam). That in conjunction with the user ratings have sent an incredibly strong message that shit like this is just not on and hopefully also sends a warning shot to any other cynical publishers trying to retail broken games on the pc platform.

They should have just done pc version after console release like what happened with gta v.

Does the batman license run out soon? Maybe that's why it was rushed.

Got a full refund.

Now to blow $150 worth of birthday money on something else. Well, $145, I too will pick this up for $5 at a Steam sale...

This game has prompted a new ratings system for ports to PC.
