It's another shooter. It should have gone full MMO rather than PSO instances. Dedicated communities for these games thin out on console far too quickly. Halo box hits the shelves and everyone drops Destiny. That probably would have mattered even more a few years ago when we all played together often...now we all tend to play shooters alone so that presents another reason for a lack of enthusiasm.

I don't find the lack of enthusiasm odd, it's the negative attitude towards the game. It's almost as if people want it to fail.

If you went full MMO you really would notice when people stopped playing. I agree it's inevitable on console. At least with this system you only need 100 odd people for the universe to feel full. /level 4 massive Destiny defender

It's currently a mystery as to what these codes will unlock for us. I am buying in on disc simply because I'm not sure about it... Will give it a red hot crack but the beta didn't do much for me... I'm hoping it simply didn't "click" and playing the full version and giving I some time will help me to understand it.

I predict I will trade it in my the time halo mcc comes out.

I've already posted my issues with the game, mr guns post highlights why I feel the game is a lost opportunity. It's nowhere near what they sold us on 2-3 years ago.

The combat is no where as tight as it was in their halo games, we have the negatives of a MMO without a lot of positives imo.

The game is only tolerable doing headshots, that's how I played the whole way through to lvl8 and devils lair, reload fest.
