One of my fave alpha characters along with gen.

Not just because of her arse attack but she is the first fast grapller that isn't big oversized sprite that take up half the screen with slow speed and instead uses momentum from quick movement to her advantage and can mix things up. (ie slide, neck grab move or cancel her attacks by changing direction suddenly.

Way more interesting than karin imo. Next up: haggar as an old man please. Give him pimp cane and brass knuckles. Evolve him from the final fight days from pure wrestler to a brutal anything goes street fighter who knocks you unconsciuous with chairs, pipes, and then grapple as finisher rather than just zangief clone. (in much the same way birdie uses chain, the pipe is haggar's secondary weapon strapped to his back. )

We all know fans want him in the game. I just want to see a quick haggar from the final fight 3 era where he has moves that zangief doesn't plus the ability to rush forward to catch opponents rather than ff1. (note difference in leg mass of haggar in ff1 compared to ff3? He's been working out since the early days. The older one would have better moves and more street smart techniques. eg catching an oppenonets arm or leg and swinging them around and throwing them into a wall and swan diving onto them instead of taking hit to the face just to grab. He'd be more brainy than gief.

R.Mika is excellent news. She's a fast grappler. I really hope they announce Karin at some point. She is just a really different character.

A bitchy japanese school girl who is evil isn't as important as Haggar. I like her in sakura and friends comic book though. I just think capcom need to evolve characters so that thier appearance changes a little with time. So in alpha ken was a kid with baby fat. Then in sf 2 he was skinny but toned. Then in 3 he got bulky. 4 not much change. 5 he got a new hairdo. Same thing needs to be done with final fight characters.

Chun li got massive changes to her style over the years. I would like to see that with haggar to differentiate him from zangief. In alpha days bison was a chunky mofo then his new body went to normal build in sf2. Modify haggar so he is medium-heavy speed and weight with entirely different moves from other grapplers.

I like the evolution of the look of characters. It makes it feel like progression.

So the order of games is... Alpha/SF1, SF2, SF4, SF3? Hopefully 5 is after 3 and more SF3 characters appear. No idea why some of them appeared in 4 from a storyline perspective... But I guess like Alpha 3 it stops making sense after the first iteration.

Karin was probably the least interesting character in alpha 3 to me. She waits for you to hit her and then does a move. She has only ok speed, and vulnerable to being command grabbed by big guys.

I don't know. The only appeal is that she wears her panties outisde of her wetsuit so she is like a super hero.

Gen, Rolento, R mika were my fave (of the new character) in the alpha games. They all seem like they were designed aorund unique concept of fighting you.

One has two stances. The other is a fast grappler with awesome air grab range for interesting slams against fat sprites that become very easy to intercept in mid-air. And the other is a guerilla warfare specialist that avoids traps as well as he can set them up.

Sakura already filled the school girl position in the roster. Making a second one seems kinda unimaginative to me. Sort of like when they added dan in to alpha 1. He was just there as a joke.

If sakura wasn't already added into alpha 2 I guess her design would seem more fresh to me. It's just feels like a filler character imo. Sort of like Lilith in dark stalkers. "Having one succubus isn't enough. Morrigan is very popular amongst nerds. Let's put in two!" Same thing with Karin: she is rival of sakura meaning now you got two identical looking characters of roughly equal speed height, range, damage etc. Yes Karin fights different but it's still just a second school girl. They both show off their panties when you kick, they both have high pitched screaming, they both share similar weaknesses due to their size and weight etc.

Now you could say "but haggar is just zangief with a headswap"

No no no no. Haggar isn't just pure wrestler. He can use wrestling but he can strike too. And he can pick shit up off the ground and use it to hit you. Unlike Gief he is used to being attack by multiple enemies ad can use them against each other and can move his feet. Final Fight 3 Haggar is can run around and stuff. Much like how ken evolved in previous SF games, Haggar evolved a bit in final fight. So what you'd get in SF5 Haggar would be a guy who is different from zangief just as much as Adon is different from Sagat despite similar styles. Karin is just sakura with a red uniform that waves her arms around in circles more. There is nothing unique about her countering a move with her circular arm thing because EVERYONE has a risk-free alpha counter so you never end up never using that shit. lol

If she is in the game it would only be because of pressure from fans of the character not because she is interesting like R.Mika.

I don't hate Karin but really just the style of fighting isn't all that interesting imo.

She is just Sakura with lots of money (kills bison with a satellite (er why didn't she do that from the start?) and moves from KOF game. Don't see why everyone thinks that's awesome.

Her air super in alpha 3 where she spins her arms around in the air like a propeller is funny though. Iori obviously taught her that crap move.

Candy tell capcom to please put final fight 3 edition of mike haggar in this stupid sequel.

Nobody cares about the tornado guy who stole his moves off crash bandicoot and the tasmanian devil.

We want Haggar. And we also want the final fight 3 theme song as his stage music.

His sub boss would be zangief. And like megaman zero is to megaman X, they would have friendly rivalry stealing moves off each other, or killing each other for fun in fan fiction vids..

If they do it I won't buy it preowned from ebgames like I did for DMC..

Also I think its time they added an australian guy who uses a boomerang. Make him a white guy who was raised by aboriginees and he survived in the outback killing dingoes which stole peoples babies. (he eats dingoes after hunting them and absorbs thier knowledge) He looks like crocodile dundee and wears a hat with those corks tied to it like you always see in movies whenever they need to show a token australian. He is about the size of dhalsim but much faster and his boomerang can make you dizzy in one hit if you don't block. The idea is he stuns you with the boomerang then uses his pet dingoes to bite you. He is like a grown up version of Feral Kid from Mad Max 2. He can bury himself into holes in the ground and emerge from random hole in the stage. Then place traps on the floor as if to capture you like an animal. He uses a whip as backup weapon like simon belmont and can grapple you with it by first whipping then throwing himself toward you to close the distance and tackle you to the floor to fall onto the trap. (which does big damage.) The boomerang goes through projectiles but does not destroy them since it goes around instead of straight. But unlike other projectiles is fast and returns very quickly like dhalsim's limbs. But there is a rythym to it where you can throw multiple boomerangs so you time them at strategic times. eg the first one stuns, the second one hits low (prevents sliders) and the third can hit from behind to make it hard to jump away. You can hold button down to fake throws. The idea is alternating between boomerang to stun and whip to use long range throws and traps to make it hard to get near. All while hiding in the holes to avoid being grabbed yourself. (think of it like teleport)
