Candy I have not ruined it because I think SF5 hasn't released yet as the arcade mode isn't there yet. So why do you say I ruined it? I'll start posting my thoughts about this game when they finish the game. Fuck talking about the demo which is what was released to retail recently.

Don't you understand they are ruining our entertainment:
http://thefix.ninemsn.com.au/2016/03/31 ... -sex-scene" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The latest reimagining of the classic Tarzan tale is shaping up to be the most violent yet. But we weren't expecting this twist.

It turns out that when The Legend of Tarzan director David Yates set out to cast Margot Robbie as Jane, he had some rather intense bedroom behaviour in mind for her sex scene with Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgard).

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, David explains how all this carnal ferocity came about.
.

"They're doing this love scene together," he told the publication. "And I said [to Robbie], 'Just slap Alex while you're making love, just kind of give him a punch.'

"It was sort of an earthy, sensual moment of her enjoying sex with Alex, and the only bruise he picked up during the entire shoot was probably that punch from Margot. Which says a lot about her feistiness."

The Tarzan movies have a history of pushing the boundaries with sex. Bo Derek's sensual portrayal of Jane in 1981's Tarzan: The Ape Man is one very R-rated example.

Then again, as Alexander pointed out, this upcoming version will set out to eradicate some of the more sexist boy-saves-girl action-flick tropes.

"It was very important that we didn't want it to feel archaic or dated," he said. "Where it's like, tough guy has to save the poor girl.

"You have to feel that she's strong and independent, and when you cast Margot, you'll definitely get that."

We've already witnessed some of that fierceness in the latest trailer for the flick, in which Jane spits on her captor, played by Christoph Waltz.

But with the Aussie actress also kicking butt as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, hitting cinemas in August, we can hardly contain our excitement for the onslaught of feisty Margot Robbie on our screens.

The Legend of Tarzan hits Australian cinemas on July 7, 2016 in 2D and 3D.
^what they've done to hollywood movies they are doing to gaming. So this is why they are trying hard to censor games. We need to tell companies that if they do it we will boycott the games and kill their profits. Customer's needs come before the needs of political activists and pc thugs.

I have returned my copy to EB games Candy because I think unless capcom give us full titles I am not paying full price.
I should have taken the advice and avoided buying, but I was happy to support SF. The only problem is it conflicts with their anti-consumer attitude. I want them to fire whoever thought it was a good idea to let feminists control the company.
We have the power to kill these guys by not buying the games if they work for employers who don't give artists full creative control.

What is happening in the games industry kinda reminds me of what happened to comics in the 90s when companies like Image comics were formed by Todd McFarlane which allowed ex-marvel and dc artists to go it alone (making less money) but having more ownership of the characters. This is what has to happen to fighting games and will probably be the future. They can team up with comic writers and artists for character designs, own the characters and leave capcom. Then if a PC thug comes along to change the way a character must look or how they act, they can give them the middle finger and ignore them. When artists own the characters they create they make much better content.
I am happy that capcom killed megaman in a way because it forced the creative talent to take the risk of doing things themself and means less reliance on bean counters.

BTW you didn't answer boomy's question. Why are you such a rude cunt?

Hey candy what do you think of R.Mika?

it says she is a vortex style character:
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016- ... -right-now" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This game suffers from the same things as SF4 which you called vortex fighter 4.

I hope capcom balance the game before I buy it when Arcade mode is done.
I've seen people criticise R. Mika players for doing nothing but going for this Passion Rope Throw over and over again until it lands. Some within the fighting game community believe this move, as well as the "vortex" style, is not a "high skill" strategy, and as a result R. Mika has been labelled "cheap" and a "troll" character.
^
see this is one of the reasons why I stopped playing competitively and only for fun. Everyone has a different idea about what is cheap and easy (ie "cheasy") while some think it isn't disrespectful to abuse a cheasy tactic over and over again to win because of the belief that if YOU can do it, then THEY can do it back to you and therefore it's a contest to see who is better at abusing cheasy tactics. (in the arcades where money is involved it is necessary to know ALL the exploits of a fighter in order to prevent yourself from losing your credit so it's a necessary evil to use this in self defence if you are getting your butt whupped. )

It is akin to the early days of diablo where everyone would have cheats turned on, and when noobs would ask them why everyone is cheating they responded by saying: "we only use the hacks because EVERYONE ELSE USES THEM and so we only use it in self defence so we don't get killed." Best to play Diablo with only people you know or LAN.
You need to be able to punch people in the head for not doing things fairly otherwise it ruins the fun of playing.
The same rule applies to gaming online. If the other guy on the other end of the line isn't who you are playing but his next door neighbour. Then it defeats the purpose of multi. You need to be able to control what the other guy is doing by being near them to know if it was a true victory or loss.

Now you might say: "but they can patch and rebalance the game so old game examples don't apply" but that is like changing the rules of a sport when you don't get your way. And the process can go on forever where a game is never finished because the people who don't like losing get to complain and whine that they feel their fave character is underpowered. I stopped caring about competitive play after this. (it was around about the time of Alpha 3 where people thought juggling people in the air with V-ism was cheap even though you can escape from them. These idiots probably forgot that jabs can interfere with v-ism easily as a kind of combo-breaker and just whine because they are losing and then claim "V-ism is overpowered" even though it takes more skill to use it and it does less damage than the easier options.)

Local Multi > online multi 10 times out of 10.

playing for fun > competitive play ...because you never have to care what other people around the world who are shit at games think. "Oh you used an overpowered character, therefore your wins don't count but mine do! Shame on you for being better than me and discovering who the best characters are in the game. I demand my money back from all the credits I lost to you in the arcade because capcom can't make balanced fighters!" lol

Just because a game is unbalanced (not that I like that - I much prefer balanced games) doesn't mean you can't also exploit that, and then when you play a less skilled player you can choose to use the underpowered ones to give them a little advantage if they are noobs who will never get the complex characters that are harder to use and win with.
Each person may be at different levels of skill so maybe the fun is in discovering who is broken mess that breaks the game. In real life some guys are better than others. Why wouldn't that rule apply to the game universe?
Example Sagat is a champion from the first SF game, and it's expected to be better than the others as he is a boss.

Same with the original M.Bison from SF2 World Warrior where his psycho crusher hits you 5 times in a row if you block to chip damage you. (champion edition came along and weakened him so you couldn't get accused of being unfair in competitive play but in the IN-GAME UNIVERSE the weak version is not canon) Is it not reasonable to expect the bad guys to use cheap dirty tactics to win because they are ...you know...EVIL??
(sagat isn't evil but he still works for the crooked leader so that makes him bad) Evil guys are power obsessed so they should be a lot cheaper than good guys who do things the hard way. Using evil characters would be like "easy mode" for crap players and good players could elect to ban the overpowered characters from tournaments or have divisions where people who choose overpowered characters can only be matched by others who use those overpowered characters too. (like in boxing where you have weight divisions)

But how can I play it when I returned it to EBGames? I will buy it when Capcom treats me as the important one and gives me arcade mode like SF4.

SF5 could have got 10 like SF4 but it lost points for being a demo. I plan on buying megaman collection instead. I am still a capcom fan but they are caving into the feminists and they are treating consumers like shit.

Boomy wants you to asnwer his question now.

The patch for Dragon Ball Exteme Butoden is ready (can play online now):
capcom is doomed. Nintendo should just buy them already and get the monster hunter franchise exclusive forever.

The game deserve a re-review.

Much like Capcom these lazy shits forgot to add modes. In this case they didn't add online mode. (not that I care as local multi is superior but it' stupid not to do that for a game like this) This cost them points in reviews. Idiots..

Anyway I might pick this up instead of getting Hyrule Warriors. Like Pokken, it's a MvC style game. I reckon you should check this game out and review it now that it's a complete edition.

related:
Original Review of the game
it seems like these days it's normal now to releae now, patch later. I'm getting tired of that attitude. Why can't they be more like nintendo when Mario Kart 8 was released? When you paid full price for vanilla mario kart 8 it felt like a full priced game. Then when the expansion came out people couldn't wait.

...But the DLC didn't feel like parts that should have been in the original release. That's how you do DLC properly. Not making the base game a barebones demo and then finishing it later while getting bad reviews on release. No. Instead you
1. create the full game and polish the fuck out it as if that might be the last game you'll ever make and not expect it to sell high which causes you to pour all your energy into it, (remember you are competiting with all other companies so reviewers like totalbiscuit will always bring up the value argument)

2. charge full price for it, (profits) then if everyone loves it, (feeback) work on DLC expansion which feel like more of what people liked. (maintain interest over longer time) That's what expansion packs/DLC used to be but now it's more like:

1. release unpolished turd to fanboys with bare bones features and get shit reviews while charging full price.
2. promise that you may add the stuff that was supposed to be in the launch copy later, making people wait and wanting to play something else.

In no other industry do you put up with that shit. You don't buy a car and the manufacturer gets to say to the customer: "we'll add the brake pads and rear view mirrors and windshield in a few months time. Just pay us now for the incomplete car so we can work on that. You can still drive around without brakes if you slow down during those steep hills and roll without accelerating and drift turn around a corner as you are such a hardcore driver with such high skill it shouldn't be hard right?" "oh you aren't a stunt driver? Shame on you for being a noob! Don't you know casual drivers are not our target? Go away we don't want your kind buying our cars, we only make products for the hardcore elite people who know how to survive with only the basic because they are tough dudes."

With this attitude, game companies are doomed. Remember what happened when ET was rushed.... Industry crashed.
Capcom is leading the charge by rushing SF titles and setting a bad example to other companies, thanks to guys like Candy and his clique-ish behavior.

It's not the 1970s anymore, and you and boomy are not The Warriors gang where everyone is forced to wear funny outfits to fit in:

Yep online gaming is stupid for fighting games. :P Whether it's Candy or random 5 year old that plays better than him.

But it's worth pointing out that if you make a fighting game without one, you are disapointing quite a lot of customers who kind of expect that as a feature nowadays. It's like when Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on psp only had local multi on release, until people had a hack to connect to each other. Officially it is offline and local multi only. Which isn't acceptable today.

You don't do that shit. You want MORE people buying your game not less. You can cater to both elite and non-elite buyers. Common sense. Sony is partly to blame tomby for the shit reviews, so it's not all capcom fault since they funded the game. When nintendo fuded bayonetta 2 they made sure the title was polished. That's what sony should do with SF5. Otherwise what's the point of having an exclusive?

Having an arcade mode is not really about the arcade mode itself so much as the idea that it came standard for just about all fighting games so why should it get 10 like SF4? It's a downgrade of value. That's the argument many normal people make when they purchase this not knowing that it's for tourney players only. If you want to sell games full price, then bloody well polish them, instead of getting annoyed that Pokken Tourney beat it in sales despite being on a lower selling console.

Huh? Most teens who play SF want the sex not the censorship. Remember when nintendo censored games back in the SNES days ie mortal kombat?
nobody wants to go back to the old days when it was thought only children played games.

I think grywiz is silly. In movies like Watchmen you see a blue man's cock and that should be considered porn. But in videogames you can't see a sexy pose or Tracer's butt? WTF? Stop shoving your beliefs on to the entire nation. If you feel offended ask the company to add censored options so your daughter doesn't become a slutty whore.

You can't have it both ways. You either take censorship out and let individuals then add filters to personalise the game like we have now (eg the option to change blood colour, remove gore etc) or you force EVERYONE to suffer to please a tiny few who probably have no intention of buying the game they are offended at.

My way is better. Everyone gets what they want and the offended people can protect themselves by using options in menus to edit out nudity, remove gore, not let kids choose costumes that look offensive etc.

This way you APPEAL TO EVERYONE AND CAN SELL TO ALL PEOPLE. Which equals more money. You get to sell it to perverts, prudish people, kids, and teens who are sadistic and want to see fatalities. The people just have the power to apply filters not some third party organisation who makes the decision for them and adds red tape. It's probably what google does for the search engine in china for instance.

You got to use your brains guys. Stop trying to make capcom poor so microsoft or sony can buy them. It's not going to work. Nintendo should buy them and keep monster hunter tied to nintendo machines. I think of myself as the only true capcom fan left on the boards. When they are dying I let them know when they are fucking up and it causes them to want to be better as a company which raises their profile.
SF4 = good launch
SF5 = poor launch

I get it the FGC is the most active community, but the money is important too. You got to get all the crappy players who love fighters but totally suck at it. And provide options to make them feel welcome otherwise they will never be ready to play against you online because they will get beaten too easily. If the older players don't need all the modes that is fine but don't deny the crap ones the freedom to have them. I personally don't care for it, but I think not having it is worse then having it. I feel like online gaming is over-rated and it's a shame so many titles now are just multi only titles.

I wonder if games like Overwatch was more like a borderlands-style campaign-focused title, how good it would be. And the multi was just the other portion. Battleborn seems more interesting to me because of that. All competitive titles should be structured like old school street fighter games where they have a story mode so you know their history and what they are about, and then when you are sick of that, you play multi in competitive play.
You got to be careful when companies turn into esport-only games. They alienate millions of normal gamers who have no time or interest to watch OTHER people play a game. They would rather play the game itself.

FYI the gaming market has grown beyond pubescent teens, it has even expanded as wide as disability pensioners who ride the bus and play gameboy.
Also, The sexy poses were censored to widen the appeal. I'm not arguing for it one way or another but as YOU said, you want MORE people buying your games not less.
I'll take that as a vericated gamehed censorship endorsement. :aussie:

I don't agree with that Boomy. The teens are the ones playing Street Fighter and trying to learn the game since it has been ages between number 4 and the alpha games.

When 4 came out, the reasons it got 10 wass because it had not been seen in ages. So when they release a sequel it has to be as good as 4, but also have as much content/modes otherwise people will think capcom has gone insane and stop playing SF anymore.

It's kinda like how today's games have stories attached to them despite most games being about the game not the story. The story is just an added thing to add value to the game. But a story is also in some people's minds almost as important to the game as the gameplay. (eg many rpg games rely on keeping your interest by its story and world)

With the SF universe there is a lot of fans of the franchise who are not tournament players due to lack of interest in esports. Sony and Capcom stuffed up. Now they are ruining the franchise like RE by just focusing on one part of the fanbase.

Anyway you guys are not warriors, you are beginners. You have much to learn.

Because you two are dumb, and because I feel sorry for you I'm going to share a secret technique that I don't think neither you or candy are aware of in Mighty Final Fight. Since I am the last Capcom fan left I felt I needed to pass this knowledge on to the next generation as ninjas are becoming extinct and demons are growing in power. Maybe you can make use of this as it is not in the manuals or any FAQs I have seen online. I looked everywhere.

In Mighty Final Fight when you do your Wave attack by pressing the Attack button + forward to unleash the special move, (it's a ranged attack) did you know that if you press UP on the direction pad + attack quickly after pressing attack + forward to do the Wave attack, that your character will do a Dragon punch immediately? (I use Cody and this is what he does)

This changes everything because it means now you can do the dragon punch immediately instead of as the last move in a chained combo. (cody does two jab, a body blow, and finishes with the dragon punch when you mash on the attack button to do the combo)

So go and download Mighty Final Fight on 3DS, try this out for yourself and see if I am not lying to you. The timing has to be perfect or you won't do it.

when you get to level 4 in Mighty Final Fight, you can do special moves (unlike final fight 3 where you can do special moves immediately, you must level up first like in a rpg to get the special moves)

Again:
Press attack + forward on the direction pad (your character goes into his hadoken-like animation frame) then quickly before he does a Wave attack (his ranged special move) quickly press Attack again, and then immediately press UP on the direction pad and Cody will launch himself into the air and do the dragon punch immediately.

Took me ages to master this technique because I never seen this listed in manuals or in guides. And when I first did one I thought I was hallucinating or remembered wrong. But it's a real move, just that capcom the idiots forgot to list it in the manual those fucking retards. They put stuff in a game and then forget to tell us what's in the game.

Anyway now that you know this stuff hopefully you grow in skill instead of watching other people play a game and discover new secrets for yourself rather than stealing other people's ideas and mimicking them like a chinese bootleg toy maker.

Tell Candy about this trick too. He needs to learn the dragon punch.

Originally arcade Final Fight was originally supposed to be the sequel to Street Fighter 1 before it was renamed. The two universes are linked together like bros. Perhaps he will be able to become as good as a true gamer like me one day.

Pro tip: Don't tell everyone about ALL the secrets you find out or they will use the techniques on you. Let them figure things out for themselves instead of acting like entitled cunts. As soon as you gain an edge over others along comes the whiners and complainers on social media asking capcom to weaken your character and strengthen theirs so they need less skill to win. Sadly they can't say no or these guys will stop playing online and that's what capcom cares about these days not the quality of the game.

edit:
Now I know you guys love censorship a lot but hardcore gamers like me actually prefer pure versions that are as close to the japanese originals as we can get.

Remember back in the days when games like Final Fight had the female enemies removed?
http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/finalf ... lfight.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

this kind of stuff pisses me off. I want to see poison's tits after each hit to the face like in the arcade. Not the butchered version nintendo gave us. Today's censorship is probably going to get worse and worse as time goes on and more feminists start to interfere with gaming. We already fought hard to get blood and titties now they will censor that again. Hopefully these companies will still be around to make games despite being slowly destroyed as the talent leaves them. This is why I advocate for artists and creators to break from the control of the big publishers and own the characters you create. This means more control over how they act what they say and give fans a truer pure version of what the creator intends without interference.

He has already stated why he doesn't play SFV, he doesn't want to pay full price for an incomplete game.

A perfectly valid reason to shit up the SFV thread!

P.S That doesn't explain why he was also scared to play me at SF4 - a complete game.

I acutally bought SF 5 because I was happy enough with just local multi, but then I realised I should not have given capcom my money out of principle because it says to them "it's ok to not released full versions on launch".

I will buy the game once they give me all the features. Regardless of whether I need them or not.

I hope one day these companies will realise that you need to release polished stuff like nintendo. When Mario Kart 8 came out in vanilla form nobody complained because it was a polished game. Then when DLC came out nobody complained because it felt like true expansion pack and not just unlocking the missing content from the vanilla edition. Capcom has got it all wrong and it's because of guys like Candy that they are going soft. They used to be one of the top japanese game companies. Now they are going broke. Just listen to the fans and they will survive the doom.

I'm still pissed that dragon ball Z had no online mode out of the box and requires me to patch it. Capcom is setting bad examples imo.

As for me not talking about sf5 it's because I can't play online as I don't have sony subscription. I am stilll playing single player open world games. But that doesn't mean I can't ask boomy and you for advice when I do get the game so I don't have to figure out all the cheap exploits myself like I had to do with Mighty Final Fight where the manual didn't even tell me about the dragon punch move which makes me invincible so I can kill Sodom without having to dodge his dashing sword attacks anymore.
I wish capcom were as good as bamco. They are sliding candy. Why are the background only 30fps? And why aren't you angry about that?
And do you and boomy know any fans of Mighty Final Fight that can tell me what all the other unlisted secret movess are in the game that the manual forgot to print?

And Greywizard: don't let this idiot try to shut down criticisms of capcom. They need fan feedback or they are doomed. When they didn't listen to critics of Resident Evil they games got worse. The same might happen to SF if they don't watch out. Many people are used to Arcade mode as standard. Unlike candy I am not a fanboy of capcom just a fan of good games. I like the history of the games they make and do care about the game being overall polished like SF4 on release. Just go back to being a normal company that gives a fuck about the product quality and I won't "wreck his threads".

Why the fuck would you pay for online gaming when you won't use it?

The only time I would ever pay is for a MMO.

Regular games should be free. Lost Reavers on Wii U is free. Why shouldn't all console games online modes be free? Think about it. You can play Elder Scrolls Online free.

Boomy you are getting ripped off. But since I don't play online (much prefer open world single player adventure and rpg games) I am coming from a perspective where I might be biased. I still like local multi for fighting games but online against strangers is pointless since you don't know who the people on the other end are.

I was playing Lost Reavers and this idiot kept dying on purpose by doing stupid shit and I had wasted loads of resources to heal him and revive him over and over again. (perhaps his control settings were not set properly because of the way he kept moving slowly) I realised right there and then that playing with people who you can't punch in the face or tell their age is the stupidest thing you could want.

Local multi will always be > online multi.

You only accept online a the standard of play with others because you have no choice. It is by necessity that you go with it because you don't understand why people play games and you like something being online for the sake of it being online not whether or not the game is good to play online. It's not about community or anything that people often site in review about why a game is good. It's whether or not the experience is fun. If you are doing stupid shit to ruin the experience for others and I can't punch you in the head or go berserk and break your fingers off and blame general cyberfunk for the assault, then I am not interested in playing period. Even if the game itself is good!

As for Might Final Fight, I think capcom needs to be criticised for hiding moves and not letting ordinary joes tap into the full game. Why do they do it? Do they think it's fun not knowing how to play a game by giving incomplete instructions? It reminds me of the Hasbro intruction manual for transformers toys where they miss steps and cause you to risk breaking the toy by kipping detail. So glad those days are long gone and we have move lists in fighting games as standard in all home versions now..

Anyway PM when arcade mode is ready.. and tell candy to tell capcom to bring this game to NX so it's possible to play the bus edition. Sick of how Sony never paid for a port of SF4 to Vita. What's the point of having great controls on the Vita for fighting games and then not having SF4 ported there? lol Waste of opportunity.

GameHED just told me, to tell candy, to tell capcom to bring this to the NX.

One can only imagine how he thinks the world actually works based off this comment.

Capcom used to be cool and reached its peak in the 90s.

But much like the girl from Top Gun who has aged badly (the one who played the flight instructor) she's gotten old and starting to lose appeal to the new generation of fighting fans. What happened was they got complacent since SF4 revived the franchise and thought everyone wouldn't care how badly treated they would be after this.

SNK on the other hand is still catering to fans by giving us the arcade mode for the next King Of fighters sequel with huge roster of characters. Why aren't capcom worried about this??

So much competition has led them to have to apologise to the community which shows they don't know what the fuck they are doing with the franchise because sony fanboys thought it was a good idea to have it be exclusive to one system which just means less profits for the business and angry Bone gamers being denied access to the game. (you could accuse monster hunter of being like this by being only on nintendo but SF is an OLD FRANCHISE so its more dangerous/risky to do this due to less people into it, while MH isn't) We don't want apologies we would prefer you listen to fans. That's it.

Candy is trying to kill the company imo. Always telling them to stop making modes for the casuals and masses because of narcissism. We know tournament players exist and play together but the vast majority of people buying DON'T. Capcom needs to get back to making full versions of games. Otherwise they will end up like EA as the most hated company.

I'm being serious. I would have wore a t-shirt with the capcom logo and walked down the street but it's embarassing and I could get bashed up if I were to do that these days. You are shaming the fans with your actions that show so much apathy. Nintendo on the other hand nurtures it's fans. Be more like nintendo and less like EA please.

And hurry up and release Deep Down the diablo/dark souls/dragons dogma/gauntlet hybrid FFS. You slow shits. Stop hiding the good games.

What I would suggest to capcom to repair their rep is please release all those old Street FIghters in one collection and do what you did with megaman collection. Have part 1 and part 2. Part 1 is all the CPS2 SFII series games in package, part 2 is alpha series in one package which would include the handheld port of alpha 3 on psp with all the characters, and if those sell ok go for a part 3 which is all the Street Fighter 3 titles. SF collection.

This is important to retro fans and new fighting fan who want to catch up to current day SF and were not able to learn the old games. Like when nintendo released old mario 2d games with the "new" series of mario and updated it and then followed up with Mario Maker.

Be more like nintendo. Do you want Arc Sysstem Works , SNK, BandaiNamco, and Team Ninja to kill you in sales? Then do it.

And be better than the others like you used to be by doing something new and cool for instance branching story paths so it decides who you fight with based on choices you make in the story mode so you can get some replayability using the same character and see events play out based on the path you took. And have more than one villain so if you like being the bad guy you can choose from different people to be as that are not the usual do-gooders but have some reason to fight anyway to become powerful. (for instance why doesn't bison have clone of himself that is younger and stronger than him ready to go when he is beaten and dies one day? There is no sense of time passing in SF games like in tekken or soul calibur. Wouldn't it be cool to play a bison clone and kill bison to get control of the organisation by taking out the leader? )

Even games like Call of Duty innovated a bit by giving branching paths by the time black ops 2 came out and that's a FPS mindless shooting game for kids with billions of sequels already. If you don't care about fans of your games just say so but don't dick us around by pretending to care about online community when your servers were going down all the bloody time and you took ages to fix the rage quitter problems where it would not punish them for cheating.

It's only a matter of time street fighter franchise dies off and becomes a mobile only title going at this rate.
