I noticed this week uncharted collection was finally on sale, $39.95(50% off). I grabbed it, I've never played uncharted 2/3 only uncharted 1 and uncharted vita, the demo I played @ 1080p/60fps was a pretty good remaster so looking forward to playing the uncharted's I missed.

The remaster is really well done and the game still plays well. The enemies in particular can be right shits AI wise. Great value I think as the sequels are top notch, where Tomb Raider call its cues from.

Just finished the remaster of Unchartered, great gameplay mechanics for its time and still holds up well today. Now onto number two.

I still consider the 1st to be the best. I realise it's fallen behind the other 2 in gameplay, graphics and mechanics, but it was my first true next gen experience and the first time I can truly say I played a game that felt like playing through Indiana Jones. The other 2 are phenomenal but 1 holds a very special place in my heart.

Chances are this will be the best looking game of this gen...especially when it (surely) runs at 60fps on PS4K.

Just watched some of the Gamespot review before canning it due to it being far too spoilery. Not that I have a PS4 but given the review is the very first vision I've seen of UC4 I sure want one more now than I did a few mins ago. Game looks gobsmackingly amazing.

Yeah, I agree Ministry. Uncharted4 is a no brainer. I know I'm buying it day1. I know I'm going to love it. I don't need to see anything before hand. Roll on Tuesday.

All I've seen was that E3 demo where they showed how you now had a grappling hook which was used in am approach to a gun fight on some cliff and a gif of an explosion with shitloads of particle and lighting effects. Other than that, nothing.

Will trade in a couple of games and get EB to price match Targets price unless I can find a steelbook somewhere for a reasonable price.

Day 1 patch is 5GB. I think I will let it install first while having the patch downloading in the background, then start the game.

I had more or less done the same up until reading that review, but I just couldn't give ND the benefit of the doubt after Uncharted 3. Wasn't awful by any stretch of the imagination, but it was definitely the weakest entry in the series. Kind of like every series of theirs, really.

But yeah, that was a very positive and seemingly genuine review, actually pointing out that the issues with the last game (that all major review sites conveniently glossed over until the initial sales died down) have been addressed. I think I'll be picking it up tomorrow morning.
