Then just zoom the image in and be all 16:9 then!

Geez these Xbots whinge! Massive updates, shitty frames, can't connect to multiplayer, Driveclub looks great blah blah.

The Order 1886 Direct Feed

Post by flipswitch »

Little concerned with this title going by the mixed impressions. Hope it turns out good though, looks pretty cool and I love the setting.

Might be an issue when half the hud is cut off from zooming in. Not to mention image quality issues.

Sony games don't concern themselves with disconnect issues, they just omit multiplayer altogether. ;)

I just know it's going to be a Gears clone but like you I love the setting and am interested in seeing the world they've recreated.

Much like Halo it would seem.

As for this game, visually it looks spectacular and (recurring theme) nicer than anything on XBONE....but the gameplay looks SUPER boring and played out.

This game would have been awesome on the Dreamcast. 13 years ago.

T0mby I never pictured you as a quicktime fan. ;)

Btw several sites have been panning it for months, it's ps4s Ryse, except we're out of launch window.

So Ryse is excused because it was a launch window game? :rollin:

So we get stick for buying MGS:GZ for $40 cos it's a demo but Ryse gets a pass because it's an Xbone tech demo even though it's full price?

Dem double standards!

MGS is a last gen port, it's not a next gen graphics showcase, those titles at launch were killzone and Ryse. Tech demo as in next gen graphics showcase.

Been extremely sceptical about this game for a long time now, really hope that it's going to be at least a 7/10 game, Sony and Microsoft need to finally deliver some decent first party games now that both consoles have been out for 15 months now, will have to go to Mr.Smiths to pre order it tomorrow.
