Looks like all the suckers are on PS4. :P

Yeah I nearly traded blops 3 in for it today BUT, even at 20 odd extra bucks with trading in a game I got free, I still thought that having to flesh the game out with premium content worth more than the game was beyond acceptable. I decided on Fallout 4.

Love star wars movies but like Greywizard I prefer single player shooters.

Wolfenstein is more of what I like. If EA could make a good long single player Star Wars shooter I promise not to buy secondhand from the ebgames lizards.

EA ruined bioware, abandoned the dreamcast, didn't do shit with system shock franchise, censor forums from critics who have valid criticisms about their games, and generally rely more on the licenses than the quality of the products they make that I am almost ready to boycott their stuff now. (still buy the odd game or two from them)

EA are also tight arses. They tried to make their own cartridges during the 16 bit days to avoid using normal ones. lol

Today they are even known to take over whole game review sites by hiring staff from them in order to get good review scores:

I want to get Battlefront, but yes Fallout 4....once you're in you are IN.

Reading the face-off on Digital Foundry, DICE did a great job optimising this game for all platforms. Too bad more devs can't follow suit....

The optimization came from dropping the player count from 64 -> 40.

If you played the older BF games on consoles you would know 32 player games were relatively solid in framerate, it's when you played 64 player matches that the framerate went to shit. Also they keep winding back the environment destruction in these recent battlefields.

Funnily enough I didn't play older BF games on consoles. The last Battlefield I played was 1942 on PC

I might pick this up down the line when there's more content available....well it's even the gameplay too, doesn't look as much fun as BF.

I'm going to wait until the game and content is on Origin for a reasonable price. Fuck EA. I can wait.

I'm really enjoying this but I can't help but yearn for a Battlefield experience. Wonder how the community is on PS4 after 2 years.

Anyone playing Battlefront that had played the previous versions? How's it compare?

Origin have a sale on BF4 premium($16/$20 for base game included), I picked up the premium DLC last night, the BF4 servers on PC are still very healthy and full. Also BF hardline is on sale too for $16, I grabbed it as well.

Had a quick play last night, took a while to download/install. Only did the training missions, graphics look pretty nice, running ultra settings rock solid 60 @ 1080p. It's ok I guess, not exactly blown away though, gameplay feels very basic/standard, playing as jedi is fun but again basic compared to something like the jedi outcast games. I wish they did a modern version of those games, they were excellent imo.

11 guns

I refuse to be part of this. EA should be punished by the community...trouble is, this is Star Wars, even a huge backlash against their model won't be noticed. Even savvy gamers here have bought into this insult.

The graphics on endor.

I rather like the gunplay, it's fun and different, less recoil spread but you have to lead your targets more, reminds me of old school shooters like quake/ut. The heroes mode is interesting but feels unbalanced, content is very light, they need to throw a lot of free DLC to keep me playing long term, not paying for that.

I hate the lack of a server browser, finding games is a pain in the arse, the origin integration is good, the party system works well and voice chat is clear except the old throwing you on opposite sides problem is there, annoying.

Gamestop unimpressed

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015- ... rperformed" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This game had way too much hype just because of graphics. It's punishment from the demon gods for abandoning the wii u just to please technology whores I reckon....

Star Fox will have way deeper gameplay than this thing. :p

The best advice I can give to EA is to blame star wars for poor sales. And blame FOX news for calling anyone who likes star wars as uncool nerds who live in mom's basement (not dad's basement where the vintage 70s porn is kept) and calling lightsabers "nerd sticks".

Because of that, nerds didn't buy the game. Investors will believe it. Everyone watches fox news. And everyone wants to be cool just like the blonde bimbo from the movie clueless.

The nerds will get thier revenge when they invent sex robots and make bitches like that obsolete.
Soon you will be able to fuck your fave porn star or celebrity
nerds are taking over...That's why they are so scared

Dr. Peter Beter warns of robotoid clones replacing the people they are based upon:
synthetic automatons vs robotoids: (secret war between russia and zionist america involving organic robot clone doubles to infiltrate the government)
