Now over 100 hours with this game.

There are some issues with balancing, in particular the dragons in the game. You think you're good and you've got your approach figured out until one of these bastards one-touch kills your entire party :/

I finished both White March expansions, really good stuff and they don't overstay their welcome.

More and more veteren game devs are going to go indie:
big publishers are stunting the creative juices of the makers of the games.
It is thanks to big publishers that Obsidian almost died. A big budget game that fails to sell well can bring an entire company down. The suits at the top often lose touch of what the gamers actually want and boss the creative people around to do stuff that fans of the series don't want. And this causes a series to suck or if they play it too safe, it stagnates and makes the series boring over time.

Hopefully Pillars 2 is made to cater to fans of the old school isometric CRPG games.
But first: they must port Pillars 1 to the Switch. All nintendo has to do is give them a moneyhat and they can rake in easy money now that all the people who ever wanted on pc have already bought it. They need to learn how to establish and grow the fanbase beyond the PC tard Candy. Otherwise the games have the low budget feel to them when they clearly don't have to. (in the documentary they had to exploit young desperate people who didn't play instruments since they were little kids to help create the music in the game instead of hiring people who were experts. With the nintendo seal of quality they don't need to skimp on the quality because there are tons of console owners who want to play these isometric games. Why else was X-com 1 and 2 brought to console?)
