What scores are expecting? I’d say based on not playing it, 7/10. But lots of people liked the trial version, and let’s face it, Shenmue fans are gonna love it.

From impressions of Era, Pro is 1080p but with better performance than standard PS4.

I’m sure DF will have an analysis.

I've been bitterly disappointed with games I'd been waiting for for a long time (like Dawn of War III), so I hope Shenmue fans aren't in the same boat

Holy crap, the English dialog is so unbelievably Shenmue-esque, so wooden and jilted, that it's borderline parody. I had seen the visuals and animation and thought it was disappointing. No. Now I see they were deliberately going all in on Shenmue's some-would-call-it-charm.
Maybe that's a good thing, maybe not, I just can't believe they went so hardcore on it.

Not liking the sound of the combat at all, it might play well but they've gone a totally different route. No more dedicated punch and kick buttons, instead moves are tied to combination button presses.

Hard to say on this one, it all depends on who is reviewing it and their attachment to the previous games. It's very jank and 90s in execution, but as we all know that's part of the charm of the original games.

It might end up around 7/10 I think and many reviewers will probably warn people, if you haven't played or enjoyed shenmue before, you're probably not gonna like it. As tomby already noted, there are some big changes in the way combat is done and it's kinda naf, the cool part of the shenmue games was the fighting system taken from VF/Spikeout.
