I'd still choose the xbone over ps4 and wiiu this gen. For mine better games and exclusives I enjoy. PS4 still can't match Rise of the Tomb Raider or Forza Horizon 2.

Of the nine future release games they advertised, six are games that are officially coming to PC (at a cheaper price and superior graphics/resolution/frame-rate, etc), one is an XB1 exclusive game that has been delayed all the way into 2017, and the last two are XB1 exclusive games scheduled for release this year.

I don't see the issue, MS still get money from the sales. Do you remember back in the 90s when MS used to release games on PC such as Midtown Madness, Motocross Madness, Links etc? Only difference now is they're releasing on two platforms. It's Nintendo you should be laughing at, alienating their sales to a dead platform.

Well if you look at microsoft's mobile strategy, they support everything now. Being platform exclusive doesn't seem to be a big thing for them now, they're transitioning to be a service driven company, not platform driven. They have a big push in azure and cloud computing, they support linux and everything on azure now too. I reckon Nadella has pushed this directive to all divisions in ms, hence why we're seeing a lot more PC support from the games division.

The only reason you're happy is because it makes owning an XB1 (and XB1 software) essentially unnecessary.

When you have every third party game available on PC & PS4 (with superior graphics/resolution/frame-rate, etc), and the supposed XB1 "exclusive" games no longer exclusive but instead coming to PC (again...with superior graphics/resolution/frame-rate, etc BUT also at a cheaper price)...WTF is the point of owning an XB1 - when you are paying for the MOST INFERIOR version of 99% of XB1's software library, paying a fucking monthly subscription fee to play the MOST INFERIOR version of 99% of XB1's software library, and also paying more money for these INFERIOR XB1 versions of games

Finally cross buy, great incentive to preorder the bone version, saves on the double dip and I can play what ever version I like.

Considering stuff like tomb raider on PC is selling really well, I can see why they're embracing PC, it's great way to boost your unit sales because like it not, there is a good decent market there for sales. Looking for more profitability on the software side. Could explain why a lot of Sony exclusives are available on PC now too, nintendo making smart phone games, interesting times.
