DF....."Wii U owners aren't being short changed at all"

Watched the video. 900p vs 720p the only difference, both versions drop to 20FPS in different areas (I liked the bit where he was running through grass and the Wii U maintained a solid 30FPS and the Switch dropped to 20 what the fuck? :run: ) unless you run the Switch version in portable mode ... Which is at 720p anyway

With the Switch Nintendo have conceded the home console market and have adopted Sony's wildly popular handheld strategy of shoehorning console ports onto a handheld :rollin:

Quote:
We're going to be comparing the docked Switch experience to Wii U here, but before we do that, let's be clear - as we revealed yesterday, the handheld 720p Switch implementation offers up a smoother experience than the same code running in docked mode. For those looking for the smoothest possible experience, that's the way to go.

I'll wait until the Switch is the same price as a 3DS before jumping on board with a new handheld

This game is spectacular.

It's a great game for sure. Have barely started it but it's great. Spending today (Labour Day long weekend in WA, unsure about rest of country) rearranging the home theatre so once that's finished hopefully I can get back into it

Not interested in switch it anything, but noticed the accessories in EB today... Seems kind of expensive!
The controller for example is $100, and the little snap on controllers are $70 each or $120 for a pair.
Do they do something other controllers don't?

Yes, they disconnect and are at risk of being recalled by Nintendo.

The feedback is supposed to be more HD whatever this means. More realism.

I wonder if Skyim will make use of the waggle? I didn't get the kinect version last gen.
