Uh just came into this thread to say "Capcom is better" Just saying...

final fight > burning fight

Street Fighter 2 > Fatal Fury (4 buttons lol)

Street Fighter 3 > Garou Mark of the Wolves

capcom vs snk > snk vs capcom

SNES > NeoGeo (because the port of Street Fighter was better than the ports of Samurai shodown to it making it the better fighting game machine to own even without the walking backwards animations intact from the arcade)

And no the thread can be used by anyone even the bandainamco fans and smash bros players, right grey wizard?

So when is Capcom vs SNK 3 coming? Sounds like capcom needs the money badly after the sale of SF5 due to how they went for a low budget feel to the title by making the background only animate at 30fps instead of putting this game on the Wii U where it belongs and people can play online for free like SF4 on the 3DS.

When Nintendo NX comes out with cutting edge chips and holographic projection, the launch game should be Capcom vs SNK 3. Make it happen already and stop wasting my time. The current gen consoles are aging already and people are getting ready to sell them off to upgrade to new ones. They need less characters but more balance. (think like marvel vs capcom 1 was compared to MvC2 which has too many characters and end up being a mess)
It's time SNK released some HD re-releases of SNK classics like capcom did to super street fighter turbo and Ducktales.
It wouldn't be hard to redraw all the old sprites and paste them on top of the low res originals and keep the gameplay the same. What do you think?

I think you should stop posting and just blow yourself up in a botched suicide bomb attempt bro. It's for the best.

Nah I like coming into your threads to talk about games. I'm trying to get you to talk some sense into capcom and stop them from only releasing SF5 to one console platform. The smaller the online community, the less sales. It's common sense. I need you to tell capcom to put fighting games on all platforms. It's stupid that they didn't even port SF4 to vita.

If SF5 is to hit critical mass it needs to be a multiplatform title like the old street fighter games of the 90s. Stop being a dick. I think it was a mistake to get sony to fund it. Just do what they did with SF4. The reputation is dropping like when they tried to introduce non-deletable saves when resident evil mercenaries came out on 3ds.

Something is wrong with the new capcom.

That's because they are on the dole and can't afford a console where most people play fighting games. Geez Street Fighter is a world tournament game you racist pick. Not just for abbos and english convicts.

Most of the game is set in cities that matter. Why isn't there an australian character in street fighter you fool? Because australia is not relevent. This is another reason I wish someone would submit a design for a australian character to capcom perhaps a guy who made up his own style of martial arts inspired by boxing kangaroos and crocodiles? I think that would be cool. Capcom doesn't care about us. If they were as good as bandai-namco they would have done all this by now. (remember that kangaroo character from the tekken games? )

Yep. Last I checked you do on PC too, especially if they rely on online functionality.

Once again you're owning yourself talking shit that you have no idea about.

Huh? Blizzard just closed down a private server for a game that they no longer support. (vanilla WoW which appealed to people because it had a superior experience to newer expansion) People chose the free version over the paid blizzard version and that's why pc is appealing to poor guys. The stuff is free and you can hack the shit out of games to remove DRM and obtain your rights.

So no I think it's you that don't know what you are talking about. PC games are attractive because they are free and this appeals to loads of people who are on a tight budget which is why so many are on low end systems. That's what's keeping it alive. Consoles are all about the polished experiences with no bugs and tight policing for online game.
PC can never catch up to console in terms of mainstream relevence because they are fragmented market like the saturn. The saving grace is that it's a testing place for original game concepts that would normally be risky on closed platforms with restrictions. But other than that you can do the same stuff on pc on a low end console with ugly visuals. The gameplay is the same. (show me a title that is so unique I would sell my console to play on pc? You can't)

Anyway, SNK is back. Hopefully they don't turn into capcom and listen to Candy Arse who likes fighting games to not have arcade modes so that he can play a game a little early and say "FIRST!". Yes be the first but don't get angry when R.Mika is found to be too cheap thanks to lack of QC through careful balancing of the game. You can't have your cake and eat it.

Apparently the story made it to Japan where they tracked down one of thr guys responsible for it. Was originally called Darkseed but then apparently there was another game already called that.

Most pc games come with tons of bugs. It's because it's a platform that must cater to so many different configurations.
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Consoles are the stable ones pc are for the poor guy who doesn't give a fuck about quality. Dark Souls 2 was a fucking mess.
Stop hallucinating. You are from a different dimension where the internet didn't even exist when SF2 was around. Don't even know why I am bothering to reply. The only reason you own pc is to access the elder scrolls porn mods. PC is just a test platform for future console games where the big money is made.

8 of the 10 are console games. The other 2 are handheld.

:suicide: GameHED :suicide:

PC gamers are poor who don't care about quality, other than higher resolutions and higher framerates aka better gaming experiences.

In honour of this announcement I re downloaded King of Fighters Steam Edition. Always did enjoy SNKs games. Glad to see them back to basics. Now Sega only has to become super profitable and release Dreamcast 2...

Paid cold hard cash for this game - at a Steam sale no less. All for the low price of $5 USD. Legit, legal and cheap - freedom of the Master Race. Is PSN still asking north of $100 for digital only games CrackHED?

Nothing beats owning the original AES cartridges, but for certain games which cost an arm and a leg, I'd be happy to settle for the dl version.

Owning the physical is always better. One of the things that pissed me off when Dungeons and Dragons Arcade came to digital stores was how only the japanee got the disc version.

I wish they had a service for premium versions of games where you preorder ahead of time for a disc release and if you don't preorder ahead of time then that is it. You miss the window. It will lessen the risk of printing too many copiess. Everyone just preorders and pay upfront or at least a portion of the price of the game, and then by the time of release it all just gets delivered to you.
