If really feels like driving around here, the water refraction effects are really good, your car creates waves, full physics simulation.

Nothing like racing on the beach in your Monaro UTE! The only thing I can fault with the game is some of the accents are off and route is pronounced "root".

You get both mate, Good guy MS has you covered, cross game sync means I can continue my game on the big screen or PC. I have to say, the 30fps here is smooth, very good use of motion blur and absolutely rock solid 30fps, not one frame drop, the guys at DF seem to agree.
It's very good that MS is giving us the last-gen and the current-gen versions, but let's be real - there is only one version worth playing :)

Well there is no PC demo, that has me a little concerned, Forza Apex on PC suffered from stutters and they broke gsync support a few times. So I'm a little worried PC might be 60fps but there will stutters due to streaming, kinda like the dark knight, quantum break, gears ultimate. We'll see I guess.

Let me put it this way, I want every frame to be rendered in less than 16ms.

Buy a domino's pizza and get a free DLC car for the game. There is 3 cars one for each week....

For info - it looks like the 4K textures add another 10gb or so on the install size.
Pc comes with higher textures, game ready drivers tomorrow apparently.

Looks so good on xb1 already, 60fps on PC is going to be great, especially why zooming through the rainforest :)

Can't wait, unfortunately I have the standard edition preordered so the extra week will be a bit painful.

Yeah I'm so used to PC game prices these days the most I could do was deluxe and that even through amazon gift cards still cost me $108 which is stretching what I'd like to pay.

That's the only downside with play anywhere, the console pricing on PC which kinda sucks.

For instance I can preorder BF1 for $66 right now, planing to get shadow warrior 2, that's around $38. Most of my PC games are around the 50-70 mark, the amazon gift card trick takes the sting out a little bit when the dollar is stronger.

I've just gone to pre-order the game myself and it seems my account is set to a UK location? Strange...

I might try it on my $3k PC but then I'll probably quickly go back to the superior version.

Yeah. Like Madmya, I have a capable PC, but I'm very unlikely to sit up here to play FH3. I won't miss it.
However, if FH3 turns out to be one of my favourite games of all time, which it seems to have potential to do, I would definitely miss not having a physical copy. If it's not, it's potential trade fodder then, which I can't do with digital.

Does the Microsoft Store let you choose where games install yet? The store was getting very poor reviews when I last read about it on Ars a few months ago.

For me it broke, worked perfectly before, installing games to another HDD but since the last patch games can only be installed to the same drive as your OS which is balls. I have a relatively small SDD which makes 60 gig installs impossibles.

When I pre loaded yesterday it actually asked which drive to install too, may be a new Anniversary feature?

I hadn't seen it prior.
