Looks like mario vs DK combined with flicky. Reviews talk about it like it has some nintendo magic; able to keep skill based gamers challenged but still accessible to weaksauce noobs.
I am certainly curious. I'll probably purchase it if I'm still craving stuff for my new PC after having installed all the AAA stuff I want.
My only concern here is the over use of throwback gaming in indie titles lately. Its like how 5-10 years ago there was nothing but zombie games in the indie field. Its becoming so flooded that its getting harder to discern quality; it feels like pixel graphics get you an instant positive reception when I browse the steam library. Why is this a bad thing? because it is creating an environment where the next shovel knight or super meat boy will be glossed over and received as typical trendy indie stuff not the gold it is.
