As much as I love you guys, we don't have the broad video game discussion that I crave. Did we ever? - we've always been pro-xbox.

What other gaming forums do you guys visit? Do any of you recommend anywhere? Maybe Good Game? Do they have forums? Or GiantBomb maybe?

GAF has always been my go to. I usually keep out of OT there, as I always walk away feeling miserable, but this Trump crap (and the thread below) render the place unreadable at the moment. And no, I haven't been banned, I keep well out of anything non-gaming there - it's too much of an account minefield. I always remind myself I'm only there for the gaming.

I go mainly to gamefaqs. You can ask a question and easily get an answer since people are actively playing the game the discussion is in. No off topic shit to sift through. All just text so you can search quickly.

I was worried about speaking my mind, as not too long ago, when you googled GAF or NeoGAF, games ranch used to come up in the top ten or twenty results, and my tag is essentially the same at both.

What I would do is if you are not banned from those SJW places yet is tell the mods to have a "3 warnings and you are out" system.

This way you don't get banned without even knowing why you are being banned. People can censor themselves and still contribute posts to the community if they were warned once or twice.

Posting in places other than uncensored forums is like being mel gibson trying to obtain forgivenss from the jews who run hollywood:

For those of you who are content-producers, you should watch the subs on youtube and find out what is happening as people are mysteriously losing subs.

If you can't find a good board, why not start one and compete with the crappy ones? It may be important to do this for the future imo since we live in a time when the game company's own official boards may censor the topics that makes their game look bad. (eg talking about bugs in the latest EA or Bethesda title or reviews that are critical of it)

On a non-official board you can take comfort knowing certain topics stay visible. And that the mods of the fave boards you go to are not on the take of the big publishers to bully and harrass the posters who warn people of faults of the games as a way to stealth censor discussions in the same way that wikipedia is controlled by the powers that be on any topic that is related to politics. (or how google censors your seaches on hilary clinton scandals lol)

I use one other forum in Japan occasionally but only this one in Australia I've used since PlayNOW imploded. I stopped using GameNation after going to Japan. Just don't have much time to post on forums nowadays.

Edit - Tried re-registering for NeoGAF but it wouldn't let you use Gmail or 'free' emails addresses. Seriously? Who uses POP emails anymore? I stopped after my ISP collapsed in Japan a decade ago.
