It's not a matter of affording, it's a matter of being able to enjoy the games in a better way. Sega has made a lot of strives recently to bring a lot of things to PC and they've enjoyed great sales because of it, It's pretty much the only IP Sega haven't brought to any other system which says to me that Sega must have some iron clad exclusive agreement with Sony or the engine code is a work of spaghetti that will only work on Sony's libraries/system.

I didn't see it say HD remaster anywhere. I'm assuming this will be the same game running at higher res only. I'd say those screens are what we get.

Yeah there doesn't seem to be any remastering of the assets, which judging from the screens hasn't aged well.

Don’t expect there to be any. Pretty confident that it’s just a resolution upgrade, English and Japanese audio and newer controller scheme plus the default one.

For those who backed 3... ensure that you do the email survey.. it ensures you get the physical copy you wanted... it is a terribly organised survey.. more like a shopping cart.. but push through till it gives you the choice of format.

Yeah, it was a wildly confusing survey. I ended up just getting a ps4 digital copy, the thought of the delivery going ass up after all this wait I couldn't handle. I did think I was meant to have the option of both digital and physical but who knows, I couldn't follow. I did the $110 (Think it was that) backer so maybe I screwed up options?

I did the $60 which was for a physical copy, and that's what I've chosen. I don't really care if I can't play a game on launch day. I've waited 15 years... what's another month if they fuck up the mailing.

But for $110 I'd sure be expecting a digital copy too.

Sweet, upgraded to PS4 physical copy. Pretty sure originally you got both if you backed the physical version on Kickstarter. Regardless, I wanted to back the physical version originally but back in 2015 I had just moved to GC and between jobs so could only back the digital version. Glad they gave us the option. Hopefully this extra money goes towards the next tier.

I dunno if I can get excited about this.

The games have aged extremely poorly and was pretty much a production of their time. Just looking at it today, I can't see it anything else but a clunky mess and really at point I'd prefer to play the Yakuza series which is far more streamlined.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the heck out of them back then during the DC days, but yeah, they haven't aged well.
