Just don't let the SJWs infiltrate the project and put a disabled midget with missing limbs as a character in it to be inclusive.
They are now invading anime and
making their own stuff lol. I suppose we should be happy because now they are less likely to ruin our stuff
What I had in mind is a style that looks like Guilty Gear Xrd and Dragon Ball FighterZ style. But we should judge the gameplay if it is crap more than art style. Today's kids have gotten used to that now. (notice how new cartoons today look so much worse than older ones?)
BTW wouldn't mind Double Dragon Advance being made in HD or UHD form. Someone needs to make that game a home console title by adapting it to the big screen (like the 4K edition of Dragon's Crown) and adding new enemies. (those agent smith characters make for a great addition. They need to add mutants next because in Advance the universe is a post apoc one like Fist of the North Star)
What I think Sega can do is create a SOR-maker in the same way nintendo did mario maker. The arcade beat em up genre needs to make a comeback. And do some crazy shit like 8 player drop in and out co-op. With more screen space you can have more people fighting on screen at once too. Don't make it just in retro style but seriously make a game that expands on old stuff but offer so much more.
