The irritation of timed content when you're a busy parent. Intended to do the elusive target last night with hours to spare but couldn't. Missed it.

IOI ended up redoing all the season 1 ETs due to people missing them so they will probably do the same again.

They really should be putting the Season 1 ETs on a loop every second weekend or something. There's all this old content they're sitting on they could use.

One year anniversary content release is disappointing. Just a bunch of legacy stuff we've already played and cosmetics which I personally don't care about. There should at least be something new eg: another Sean Bean elusive target mission.

I'm starting to skip most of the monthly content, pretty disappointed with some of it.

Hitman 2 is an insanely good looking game. The full reflections they’ve achieved are smoother and look better than current hardware accelerated ray tracing. DF estimate they’re achieved with a secondary camera rendering a texture to the reflected surface then lit dynamically.

I was playing the latest Haven map last night. While walking around a bunch of server racks on a glossy floor I got spotted by a camera because I was too busy gawking at the reflections.

I wanted to experiment with remote explosives so I dropped in the mission, put a remote duck on the ground, I accidentally detonated it and was dead literally 5 seconds after mission start. Still don't know why the bomb went off. I alt-f4'ed before the death amination was finished but it still registered. Shortest Hitman 2 session ever.

Hitman 3 here on Jan 21. They took the Epic cash so EGS exclusive for a year. As before previous game maps will be available in the new game with new features so you'll have the whole trilogy in one package. You can import your Hitman 2 progress. IOI have stated they're putting the Hitman series on ice after this. Their next game will be a James Bond title.

It's surely a miscommunication. Hitman 2 registrations are linked to IOI accounts which are being used for progress transfer. You'd think H2 registrations can come over too thus enabling H2 players to redeem the associated access pass content for no charge. The 80% discount reads like an offer for those who haven't bought the content previously. If it's not a miscommunication then all one can ask is wtf?

Seems it's not a miscommunication. Five days from launch and they pull this after stating for months that all H2 players will get H2 maps and progress imported into H3 at no additional charge. Ballsy. They don't even say how much it will be, just that it'll be 80% off the as yet unknown price. The game already costs more on EGS than other platforms. H3 preloads also limited to consoles with EGS stating you can't download until after launch date. I have no qualms using EGS to launch games but they make it hard to like them.
