Epic teasing the start of their free games throughout the Christmas/New Year period. Rumours are:

It will last from 16th December to 6th January, 2022 and will see Epic giving away a total of 15 games. The first 14 will be available for a day each while the last will be available for a week. Although Billbill-Kun didn't leak the full list, they claim the first giveaway will be Shenmue 3.

Damn it's a boring set of freebies this year. Vampyr today (23rd). Pathfinder: Kingmaker (24th) and Prey (25th) are the next 2 in line apparently. Shenmue III still the only thing that's interested me so far, and I had already picked that up for $5 from JB.

I want something that's as hooky as last year's Ark, which was buggy af but damn I enjoyed it until I burnt out hard.

I reckon it's the covid lag because so many games are delayed still plus were late there's not as much to give away for free this time around. Been some good physical bargains this Christmas though, am scoring a few from my bro for Christmas.

Beggining to get more excited about not owning a free EGS title since they're so rare these days.

This year's free games list has been pretty lacklustre. Only game that I was surprised about was Loop Hero - pick of the lot so far.
