One of my mates is getting super into this. He signed up for a Game Pass account or whatever the $1 deal is just to play it, and is attempting to smash through it in a month

Re: The Outer Worlds
That's the one thing that annoys me. Think the devs are fixing it, and apparently doesn't happen if you use a melee weapon.Froggy wrote:Yep.. fallout I can't do anymore it made me feel depressed playing it. This one is the opposite plus seems weird, feel a bit odd that I'm walking around pointing my gun at everyone though and no one seems to care.. don't seem to be able to holster it?

Re: The Outer Worlds
PS4 here.
With the exception of the early game tutorials, I haven't fired a gun. Been 2 handed melee all the way - I've actually maxed it out already at 100, and I'm a killing machine.
Can confirm, I can put away the tool of death.

Ah thx Hercy, mustn't have been holding it long enough. Now I won't feel like I'm holding up every building I go into.
Vzzzbx, you lose again!

To those playing, has this game grabbed you yet? This article and comments thread indicates it's bit of a slog.

Re: The Outer Worlds
Trash article from Kotaku.
Fittingly apt while they're in their death throes.
I did that part last night and she was very lost? Cuphead tutorial levels of game 'journalism' right here.
Good riddance Kotaku.
If you love Skyrim, you'll love this.
I'm not enjoying it as much as some people, but it's one of the better games I've played this year and on track for a solid 8.

Jeezuz.....At the 15 hour mark, I was trekking my way up to Devil's Peak to find an information broker. Each step of the way, Nyoka would chime in with advice and to let me know if I was on the right path or not. At the halfway mark, I was very lost, so this advice was definitely welcome. It made what would've been a frustrating and long journey that much smoother.
