+1 for looking great. Character models, fashion and aesthetics overall look spot on.

Delayed beyond Q1, but still 2020 :(

But a good thing I guess given the state of the first one at release.

Does not bode well.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Lead Narrative Designer Brian Mitsoda and Creative Director Ka’ai Cluney have been removed from the project. Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs announced the studio shift on the game’s website, saying that the decision to remove the two leads was a “joint decision” made by the leadership of both the publisher and developer. The creative director role will be filled by Ubisoft veteran Alexandre Mandryka, who will be stepping in as a creative consultant.
Mitsoda spoke with Rock Paper Shotgun just after the announcement of his departure, expressing his disappointment and surprise:

That this came as a shock to me is underselling it. I’ve worked on Bloodlines 2 for almost five years. The story and main cast was initially conceived in my living room. I helped develop the pitch for Hardsuit Labs and helped pitch the project to Paradox in Las Vegas. I’ve been in charge of the narrative since the beginning, working long days and sometimes weekends to deliver a successor to Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, and I’ve never been led to believe that I hadn’t succeeded.

Damn, glad I didn't pre-order it. Will be a wait and see game now.

If I get excited about a game, you know it's going to be bad or a hot mess :(

Best case scenario (which is still horrible) is that the story was finished, so no point keeping the story guy around.

Game delayed indefinitely, new preorders cancelled, and developers fucking replaced:

This actually sucks ass. It was one game my wife (not a gamer) was looking forward to watching me play as she loves the non Twilight vampire stuff and I was excited about it to. Something has definitely gone on there that is not being talked about, thanks NDA's.

I hope we see an expose like the ones into Andromeda and Anthem's development.

I'm gutted :(

Hopefully it comes out. It seemed to me 80% or more there, I don't get the whole schmozzle.

Andromeda was alright but it was far from terrible, just couldn't stand up against the previous 3.

Agreed 100%. And in a lot of ways it was better (combat for example).

Still pissed off at the cliffhanger ending and obvious DLC hook that never eventuated. Fuck EA.

*hands money over for Legendary Edition* :(

Pandemic restrictions are hammering the big projects.

Mass Effect. I'm not sold on the remastered trilogy. I played the original trilogy back to back a couple of years ago and my memory of Mass Effect 3 has not aged well.
