World War Z

Post by Peppermint Lounge »

$34.99. I might make it my first monetary Epic Store transaction. Anyone else tempted? It's rudimentary but it's also well optimised and apparently good.
As the review says though, no local servers.

It looks good but no local servers is no sale. The game looks pretty intense with all the zombies on screen, but no way is their netcode is going to handle that with 100-200ms ping and deliver a good experience.

The performance and visuals though are excellent which is kinda surprising for a lower budget title.

Looks like the game is getting free content updates over the next few months.

Just waiting for that Oceanic server announcement. The best I've been able to find is the game Twitter account acknowledging how many requests there are and that they're passing it onto the team. The creative lead also tweeted it's being looked into.
