Cyberpunk is the only game I'm interested in. Only another 10.5 months. Or do I wait longer for the next gen release of the game?

Obviously unsure how Scarlett will work, but MS should do what they do now with the X. Game detects if you're playing it on One or Scarlett, downloads the enhanced version if applicable. So when you get the Scarlett your saves etc transfer across, and you get all the shiny new effects too.

So like upgrading a PC.

The said in the scarlet video montage that scarlett will make 4 generations of games look they best they've ever been.

So yeah expect to see the same sort of BC enhancements we've seen with scorpio.

Biggest takeaway from the show for me is how serious MS are with gamepass, the value proposition presented today is through the roof, great for people like me who game on PC/console.

The rest shown was vague, MS keeping their cards close to their chest. I'm really intrigued about the reference to hardware ray tracing, since AMD has clearly stated that Navi doesn't have DXR hardware. Is this custom silicon or are they using a 2nd gen Navi design?

Cyberpunk looks incredible, when Keanu showed up I was pumped.

Forza Lego looks unreal, going to have a lot of fun with my kids playing that, they love forza and lego.

Witcher 3 had real time cutscenes remember. Cyberpunk however looked WAY too good, I mean look at some of the scenes, no way that’s real time. Maybe that’s what the jump to next gen looks like..

- Amazed that they even talked about Fallout76 at all.
- Fucking shills. So much bullshit audience reaction. I strongly suspect piped in crowd noise and clapping. Wide shots showed people sitting there doing nothing, but there was thunderous applause.
- Fucking mobile phone games at E3. Sigh. Is this an out of season April fools joke? This shit gets booed at Blizzcon.
- Nobody has still explained why streaming is good for me. Why do I want streaming???

Ghostwire Tokyo - Looked excellent - E3 saved.

Doom Eternal - Looked fucking sensational. Day 1.

Best, most interesting conference so far, despite all the horrible things. At least they showed some decent games and gameplay.

I’ve been checking for over a week, but today the new windows update was available for me. First I thought it wasn’t because it downloaded the usual anti malware definitions, then I got a message sayings it’s available. Downloading now. So you might have to check a few times like I did.

Doom Eternal and Cyberpunk are my definites. Wolfenstein too but not at launch, I'm all-in on Rage 2 at the moment, and will be for a while.

I've been subscribed to Xbox Game Pass all this time on PC. Squeezes me for $11 a month. Now Xbox Game Pass for PC comes out at $5 a month. I just cancelled the other one because I don't plan to get an Xbox until at least the next generation so saving 50% automatically. Not bad for a change.

Captain America looks weird. Like he has an actual (wine) barrel for a chest (an upright barrel too).

Everything else is a bit uncanny because I expect to see RDJ, CE, CH, SJH, etc. They are similar enough that it's like they've gone as close as they can without paying royalties. Hulk looks very close to the movies though.

Microsoft conference was good, not great. FF7 remake looks great, possibly my fave so far. My boy is going to luuuurrrvee the Lego DLC with Forza Horizon. Everything is awesome!
