No crossplay is a bummer. I'd enjoy playing with the xbox crew.

I haven't been playing but it remains installed and it receives regular large updates. The devs appear to drop seasonal events so it would be a good one for a regular group to add to their schedule.

Additionally, it also runs with a wonderful 4K resolution at a smooth 60 frames per second. The multiplayer features 24 players now, for even more intense carnage on the race tracks.

Increased amount of foliage

I love my racers and arcade racers but I just didn't get this. It didn't really gel and I'm not sure why.

Loving this with my Game Pass subscription. Playing on Series X.

It's meant to be optimised for Series X/S, but doesn't have the little Series X/S logo or appear with my other Series X/S games when I view all my games. In fact, it doesn't even appear with the optimised for One X games either. I dunno. There is an option in the settings to switch between 4k and 1080p.

Either way, most fun I've had in a racing game in a very long time.

Seriously. My second favourite racing game ever after PGR2.
The PS5 version is just gold again. Absolutely no regrets naming this my 2019 GOTY.
The physics are what make it for me. It just feels so right.
Just pure fun.

The physics are fantastic. The AI is amazing too. I'm not used to cars not all following the same racing line Taking out a car perfectly and continuing on your way is so satisfying.

Burnout 2 is one of my favourites and this is very different, but it's bringing back a lot of the same fun vibes.

Finally got this for $15. I know I could get it for free on Gamepass but I'd rather own a copy and get Gamepass when I need it

Fuck this game is so good. Some of the absolute chaos that happens out of nowhere on the last lap is just amazing. Going to have to try out some PC multiplayer soon but there's not much activity on the servers
