All games will be presented in their original arcade format. The Astro City Mini can be played using its built-in screen or sent to a television via HDMI. The system itself has its own arcade 8 way micro-switched joystick and 6 button setup. When the console is powered on the marquee also lights up. The system needs to be powered via a micro USB connection and there are also 2 extra USB slots for additional joysticks which are going to be sold separately. There is currently no word on whether the system will release in Western territories. The Astro City Mini will be priced at 12,800 yen which currently converts to £93.70.

This is much better than that silly Game Gear Micro. Especially if they include Virtua Fighter.

They should find a way of doing this for their racing games too.

Alien Syndrome was the bomb!

I was actually watching a YouTube video of it the other day, was one of my favourites

I had a Canadian version for my C64 which was a great conversion but it only had the first 5 levels of 8. It's one of those games where only certain weapons are good against particular aliens so a lot of trial and error. Bosses were good too from memory.

All the games announced now. Plenty of great Sega games . I thought the inclusion of Virtua Fighter would indicate some more 3d Model 1 / Model 2 games. Arcade mini form factor could have done some of 'em justice. But alas!
