It's a shame this was never released. Would have bought.
I didn't have an N64 so only played GoldenEye at friend's places (all-night gaming sessions, those were the days!)
I have played GoldenEye: Source, which is MP only and hasn't been updated in a few years.

While I have yet to try it myself, you don't need a modded 360, it also works on 360 emulators on PC.

Didn't know xbox emulators had become a viable thing. Seems there's a few out there. Anyone know a good one? (Time for some JSRF).
I remember trying the Goldeneye remake on the Wii, but I couldn't get past the shit wii-mote controls. Also tried GE:Source when it came out, but was disappointed there was no DK mode, and was surprised no one else seemed to care. It also felt wrong at 60+fps (and not 15fps
