The accent is obviously played up, but they've managed to actually stop while it's still in the realm of entertaining, instead of sliding into the usual cringe territory I would have expected. It's fun, even how he says "here" ("Medkit heeyah").
But it's the language itself that really wins me over. Respawn have paid the right people for this one because the colloquialisms aren't 50 years old, nor 1 year old with whatever's trending... they're solidly on point. Seriously the word "faff" is used correctly. "Serenity" is in there, yes, as you imagine. "Cheers big ears". "Wobbly". And so on... Damn I enjoy hearing this guy in the game.
