Days Gone coming to PC.
GT7 delayed to 2020..
Didn’t even know there was a Sony event today.
I hope Dreams makes its way to PC. It has so much potential.

Re: Days Gone coming to PC.
Got poor reviews. Were they all wrong or did it improve post-release?
I second Candy's call for God of War.

Agendas and the intentional subversion of anything that people enjoy.
Like I said in my comments when I finished it, the tech issues were unforgivable, and that bumped it down from a 9 to an 8 for me.
But said tech issues are gone on the PS5, and presumably won't be there on PC.
Not everyone's cup of tea, particularly if you have open world and/or zombie fatigue, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The hordes are an enjoyable and unique experience. Graphics are nice. Cruising around on the chopper is fun.
Aside from that it's a straight white male protagonist, so therefore...

Re: Days Gone coming to PC.
A mate of mine recently played it on his PS5 and loved it. I'm super keen.
Re: Days Gone coming to PC.
not sure. I played it on Pro and a fair while after release so it had fair few updates but to be fair to them, they've been constantly improving it long after release, even still I believe. So I'm not sure why the reviews were shit but they weren't right by the time I played it.Ambrose Burnside wrote:Got poor reviews. Were they all wrong or did it improve post-release?

That'll explain why *checks collection* my entire videogame collection reviews poorlyTwiztid Elf wrote:/Replying to AB

What triggered this btw?
I don't have open world or zombie fatigue, so I'll keep an eye on it. Scores were very similar to State of Decay 2, and for similar reasons (repetitive and buggy), so I was surprised to see so much love for it in this thread.

Re: Days Gone coming to PC.
If you read any community thread about this game, you'll read overwhelmingly positive comments.
The Kotaku review literally says it. "It is exhausting to watch another gruff white dude"
https://www.kotaku.com.au/2019/04/days- ... ku-review/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Then there's the whole gaming journalism rolling their eyes at the line "promise to ride me as much as you ride your bike”
Cringey? Sure. But this is apparently something biker chicks say at their weddings.
It just feels like nothing is untainted by outrage these days. It's just exhausting and tiring. Closer to home for you, even the AFL seems to unfairly cop it continually imo.

Re: Days Gone coming to PC.
Kotaku do good exposes and I find their Australian writers are alright, but the American ones are a bit much.
Not sure that was the reason for the low-to-average critical consensus though.
There needs to be more retroactive reviews where games that are improved post-release get a second chance. Even if they were improved by modders. Dunno.
