Really keen for the MS/Bethesda one for Age of Empires 4 and Halo Infinite, and I'm hoping for a big fuck off announcement leading to a close console war like the 360/PS3 era.

My hopes and expectations:

As far as I'm concerned the big three console players all NEED to show something special soon.

Nintendo:
Switch Pro is almost certain to be revealed. If it's just handheld improvements though, like a bigger screen, I'll probably pass.
I'd like to see Bayonetta 3, SMTV, and I still hold out hope in the vague rumors of a new Advance Wars.

Sony:
Sony it seems are skipping E3 again. I'm confident they'll bring something to the tables sooner or later though, after not disappointing for the whole of last gen.
Ghostwire Tokyo (acknowledge there are Microsoft complications here, but as far as I know, they're honoring the contracts).
More Horizon Forbidden West of course.

Microsoft:
I'd like to see Halo Infinite, Forza8, and Forza Horizon 4 all shine. Seems the rumors for FH4 are Mexico and not Japan though.
AB- A big fuck off announcement? Elder Scrolls 6 could do that eh? I think it's still too soon though.

Bandai Namco:
Elden Ring?
I'd like to see more about Blue Protocol and plans for the west.

Capcom? Street Fighter 6?
Have Sega/Atlus got anything for us (besides SMTV)?
That Ninja Turtles beat-em-up - Shredders Revenge.

Actually, no I wouldn't. They'd make it digital delivery only, with 30GB download games, on cellular data only. These games would only work if you were connected to the internet all the time, of course.

And no user expandable storage.

Microsoft want to release a new first party game every three months (day one on Game Pass of course).

Also:

Gamers will soon find xCloud embedded in certain internet-connected TVs, and that the company is working on its own streaming devices that will work on any TV or monitor without the need for a console.

This is in addition to the introduction of games streaming via Edge, Chrome and Safari browsers, which will happen in the next few weeks. Game streaming will also be added into the Xbox app on PC and integrated into the console experience, which will allow for initiatives such as 'try before you download'.

Cloud gaming through the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service will also launch in Australia, Brazil, Mexico and Japan later this year, Microsoft said. Meanwhile, the firm is in the final stages of updating its data centers with the Xbox Series X hardware, so that cloud users can experience Xbox Series S and X optimised games. The firm announced it would be doing this in 2021 last year.

Finally, Xbox says it is looking into new subscription offerings for Game Pass to suit people on different devices, from different countries and with different budgets. The company is also working with telecommunications providers on new purchasing models akin to Xbox All Access, where gamers could buy a console and Game Pass for a monthly price, rather than pay upfront.

Any chance Halo Infinite looks like only a last-gen game now, rather than a last-last-gen game?

I was left a little disappointed with the BF6 gameplay reveal, something about it seemed off, the animations were kinda janky and very little actual gunplay was shown. Graphics didn't look as good as I was expecting.

Something that modern warfare totally nailed was the feel and effects of firing guns, I was hoping to see that. There is a lot of chaos though but I'm not sure how enjoyable that will be as it will just turn into frustration getting killed in annoying ways. BF4 was a bit like that.

Halo Infinite looks a lot better now, the lighting is vastly improved, silky smooth and good materials.

MP will be FTP for all.

The best part is that these guys have proven themselves time after time after time now that what you see in the vids is what you'll get in the game. Holy shit this looks GOOD.

Stalker 2 was a surprise too. I thought this game was a long way off, but the demo they showed looked incredible and pretty fleshed out.

Game is getting released next April. Gamepass day one too.

Elf was bang on with the Horizon 5 prediction.

I'm pretty disappointed with it all. The Starfield trailer was a nothing trailer, no Forza 8 and no Fable. The beautiful environments of Forza Horizon 5 give me a lot of hope for Fable, though. Playground must be a pretty massive studio now if they're making both of those games simultaneously.

Halo just looks like it's continuing down a path I don't really care for. There's just not much that's inspiring from this show, and that's disappointing.
