Congrats to them. I will try it out some time soon hopefully.
(apologies if this is old - I don't come here any more)

Re: Unpacking - Witch Beam
Played this on Game Pass, which I feel a bit shitty about. But it's very good *if you like this sort of thing*. There's a thread of a story running through the levels and it's pretty short (could easily knock it off less than 4 hrs) but despite the simple concept there's some challenges in there.
Mostly enjoyed trying to work out what
Would recommend especially if you have game pass.

Oh, I didn't realise this was made by Witch Beam (which Games Ranch's own Sonic Jam is involved with, for anyone playing at home).
I'd seen the game mentioned here and there when it came out on PC and downloaded it on GamePass, thinking I'll have a look at it one day because I like little puzzle type games. I'll definitely give it a try now.

Re: Unpacking - Witch Beam
It's not entirely my thing, but I bought a copy for myself, and one for a friend who is definitely into this kind of thing. The sound design in this game is unreal.
The game is quite lovely, and I'd recommend it to anyone, really. I look forward to the next Witch Beam game.

Congrats, Witch Beam. The art looks great. I'll definitely give it a play. Might be a good one to put up on the telly and play with the kids.

Grabbed it today off GoG during the sale.
Don't get the appeal of these sim games (PC Building Simulator, etc. wtf ) but got it to support WB coz AAC was so mint
(And maybe I'll work out the appeal when I give it a try)

Re: Unpacking - Witch Beam
I still lurk places of the internet from decades past, but usually it's only every few years I'd show up here on the ranch to see what people are up to. In this case I got a google alert from someone that our game was being discussed here heh.
Thanks for the kind words, it's been an absolutely wild ride.

Oh so that's why the console in the ~2000s era apartment was PS2 shaped and not Dreamcast
Re: Unpacking - Witch Beam
Unpacking was mentioned in a question on the latest episode of University Challenge. Link to the timestamp: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpYtmu0XPQw&t=1425s

Also, it's available on Android now.
Unlike Assault Android Cactus, which I'm still dirty about, SJ... Especially since I have two Android handheld gaming devices that would play it quite well!
