2021 Games-Ranch GOTY - CLOSES THIS SATURDAY

This list makes me realise my backlogs gonna be long for a while.. I'm surprised as a group we didn't have Resident Evil Village really rated compared to the various game of the year shortlists.

I personally didn't play it. But I'm also surprised.

Forza romped it in and that doesn't surprise me at all.

Yeah I didn't play it either but thought just even from friends that it seemed to be well liked. I wasn't keen to play another game with such a dreary setting again like RE7. Everything felt a shade of brown.

I started Kena Bridge of Spirits. I would've had that on my 2021 list had I played it earlier. It's gorgeous, plays well and is unexpectedly difficult.

I give 10 points to guilty gear strive and 9 points to quake cuz those were the new games i played.

GR GOTY is fully broken for me on PC now. The game crashes to desktop either during loading screens or minutes into gameplay. Have tried everything on the long list of crash fixes published by Forza support - diable overlays, disable AV and firewall, run as admin, yada yada. Have even tried a fresh Windows install. This after months of stable play since launch. A few times I could fluke a stable session after a fix suggestion eg: disconnecting network during game load. Unfortunately I'd follow the same process again the next time and it would CTD. Any other PC players experiencing crashes? All I can do now is hope a future update will run ok.
