Re: COD MWII
$110 for the standard edition of an already heavily monetised game is a stretch but I'll still partake as I enjoyed the recent MW1 campaign and MP. I hope Spec Ops is more solo friendly this time though. MW1 Spec Ops way too hard imho. Even with a team of coordinated mates I reckon it'd still be more slog than fun. A shame as the Spec Ops maps themselves were great.
Game size and updates too. I logged into Battlenet today and MW/Warzone pushing out another lazy 100GB update.

Re: COD MWII
I'm hoping something like that will get announced tomorrow for the xbox showcase. I thought that was the point of buying COD.

Re: COD MWII
I'm pumped for this. Just knocked off the MW 2019 campaign again and it really is one of the best FPS campaigns going around. I tried playing Realistic (Veteran with limited HUD) and it had an annoying bug where after dying the screen would go black for a very long time before you'd respawn. Was unplayable given you die a fair bit at this difficulty. It was fine on other difficulties including Veteran. Been enjoying some MW MP and co-op again too. Vanguard is half price at the moment and I'm thinking about picking it up.

Re: COD MWII
Shooter landscape is pretty stale and boring right now, I do hope this is good because my god BF2042 is so bad and 343 dropped the ball on Halo updates.

I saw you playing 2042 and wondered if that meant they'd turned it around. I'm playing Vanguard and enjoying it. It's pretty much MW with a WW2 skin. I'm really enjoying zombies also. Zombies wasn't received well at launch but they've since added another map that's gone down ok with another one on the way.

Re: COD MWII
They started making good progress, but the recent season they've failed to balance weapons, more game breaking bugs have appeared and they made helicopters practically invincible and they just farm infantry to much frustration. They just don't get it and the lack of weapons and maps is just not acceptable. I recently uninstalled it because I just had enough. Glad I only paid $9 for it.
