Baldurs Gate 3
Wasn't really interested in this until the last month. Just need to find out which type of female rogue I want as my class.

How's your female rogue going? My Diablo 4 seasonal character is a female rogue, btw.

Re: Baldurs Gate 3
Re-started a third time to get my proficiency right. Very much enjoying it but still getting my head around the combat. Had expected positioning to be a thing but apparently flanking isn't a part of D&D 5e or is optional?
Feels very much like Divinity: Original Sin with D&D, but in a good way. Couldn't recommend it enough if you wanted a substantial single player RPG. Once the modders get into this is could be amazing, but there's already a lot of content for different playstyles.

I picked this up just yesterday. Created a character, got to the first area and immediated decimated by two of those Intellect Devourers. Took me a while to get past them. It's very old school PC. I could never get in to the Divinity games but this feels fun, I like the D&D worldscape and that initial cut scene was phenomenal.

Easily worthy of the hype it is getting. Best advice reading into this game is simply just explore and trust the dice. Once I did that instead of worrying about the quest log it become a much more enjoyable game. Loving it so far.

I've given up save scumming and trying to min-max. It's far more enjoyable just to play it, you'll never be able to see all the content in one playthrough.
Re: Baldurs Gate 3
Just started a fresh co-op character, this game plays even better with friends. Well deserved scores this game is getting.

Re: Baldurs Gate 3
I can imagine this is fun in co-op when people get bad rolls and chaos ensues
The amount of intertwining quests and varied ways to complete quests and/or talk your away out of trouble is incredible. There's so much content, which there should be considering they had three years of EA.

Still enjoying it overall. There's just so much content and most of it is great with a lot of depth.

Re: Baldurs Gate 3
Finally beat it. Steam says 137hrs but some of that was restarts and reloads. Actual in game time is about 95 hours.
Act 3 really started to drag at the end, it really does peak in late Act 2 and early Act 3.
