Hahaha there a bunch of Easter eggs in the game. If you stop in front of the Jeffrey statue and press start, he changes pose.

Also, I think if you enter "O.R" or "S.H" in the high score, it plays Outrun or Space Harrier music, respectively

I think it you get 777 on the roulette wheel on the beginner track you get extra time as well.

I assume there's a good reason it never came in like a double pack with daytona 1? Playing it, I can't understand why it's never been ported across. Sega Racing Classic 2 on the game, have seen a few of the Sega Racing Classic cabinets popping up around the place the last couple of years. Certainly plays way better than the current attempt at Daytona where they've taken away the magic a bit, got on that in Timezone Surfers paradise earlier this year. The classic cabinet they have 2 of at the Beach House down Glenelg I'd love to have at home, looks nice, get 1 and 2 put on that and sega rally and it'd be heaven.

Damn. It is indeed.
Daytona 2 was great. Nothing will beat the impact Daytona 1 had when it dropped, but Daytona 2 was such a great step up.
