Saints Row (360)
Inspired by Pat's valiant attempt at pimping Prey (and not to be disheartened by its eventual disappointment), I would like to bring everyones attention to the upcoming release of Saints Row for 360.
Points for:
* Its a GTA clone
* It features online multiplayer modes
Points against:
* Its not out yet (release date Aug 31)
* It may turn out to be shithouse
Images to follow shortly (bit strapped for time before work for now)

The thing that I've always felt has massive potential, was a multiplayer GTA. Sounds like saints row is going to attempt an online GTA like experience which imo could be the killer app for this game if they pull it off right.
This game and crackdown are looking like fine games to tide us over until GTA4 rocks up.

Nah it's not persistent online more like objectives online or deathmatch.
And it's the most generic game I have ever seen Not saying that means it will be bad because of that but I don't have alot of interest in it (We had so many GTA's over the last generation I can wait a while for a definitive next gen itteration).

Some details of features from xbox.com:
* Use thousands of customization options: Customize your own unique look, your clothes, and any car you choose, with the extensive car modification system.
* Explore an open-world city: Go anywhere and do any of the activities you like in different parts of the city at any time.
* Listen while you cruise: Twelve radio stations play over 130 tracks that range from the hottest hip-hop and rock stations to classical music or humor-laced talk shows. Pay attention and even hear gameplay clues on the air.
* Engage in mayhem online: For the first time ever, challenge other players online in games such as "Big Ass Chains," "Blinged-Out Ride," or "Protect tha Pimp." Form gangs, recruit gang members, and compete for cash and respect in a variety of modes including co-op
Pretty dodgy sounding online modes if you ask me. Hopefully there will be others, such as "Shotgun da Punk Ass White Boy Mofo in da Face"
Anyway, some screenshots I managed to dig up. Screen layout look familiar?
