the road surface looks pretty good, but the last shot shows it's shimmery at a distance

I watched the gameplay vid over at gametrailers (probably the same one...) and it looked alright. Nothing spectacular though.

Actually come to think of it, I believe the curse is more an indication of your shit taste in games. I believe that if you were to pimp a game that is guaranteed to be good - Supreme Commander, Madden 07, Virtua Fighter 5, MGS4 - that there won't be an issue.

Your problem is that you pick crap from the outset.

Hence I believe you should pimp NFS Carbon.
