Notice the ? a the end of the timeline?

I'd be happy with Starcraft II, Diablo III or Warcraft IV.

starcraft2.com and blizzard.com have the same splash page.

my favourite art and quote choices were starcraft, diablo 1, and warcraft 3, the countdown has had my more and more psyched every day with the art and quotes leading upto this big announcement :O.

and yeah I'd be happy with any of those 3 things, as long as it's not another MMO, they allready have WOW and another expansion planned so we don't need them to MMOify another franchise imo.

I was going to stick up a thread about this too, but didn't bother, as we don't really know anything concrete yet. The PR release is immenent though - today I think?

My tip is that it will almost certainly be Starcraft IP.
I also think it will be an MMO of some description, although I don't think it will be an MMORPG. I'm guessing at maybe some type of hybrid game the likes of which hasn't really been seen before.

Perhaps an MMOFPS of some type? Maybe like Huxley? But with strategy and/or RTS overtones?

That's what I'm hoping for anyhow.

One thing I'm 100% sure of is that Blizzard won't disappoint.

Was canceled after blizzard purchased the studio which was developing it,b ut rumours persist they are reworking it internally and the cancelation pr was just so people would stop bugging them about a release date.

Twiztid your ideas are valid but at the same I don't think they would make a new game using the starcraft IP that wasn't a pure RTS, the many many millions of people who still play starcraft would be so crushed I think after 10 years now without even a hint of a sequel.
