Deus Ex PS2 port

Since my HL2 quest has stalled for now, I'm thinking of giving Deus Ex a crack (again, dont mention PC).

Has anyone played the PS2 port of it? Metacritic average is quite good (81 over 11 reviews) but the game is pretty old now.

Anyone have a good condition copy they want to sell on?

It's shit, the levels are broken up into "stages" and it's a poor effort all round. PLAY IT ON PC OR DONT BOTHER

I still have my Dues Ex box/ cd like brand new.Just get the pc ver, any pc can run it and you can pick it up for a few bucks or two.

Ps2 ver would have loading problems and framerate issues.

Yes. The PS2 port scored 6 in Edge I believe, but the PC was a 8/9.

I have the PS2 version. It's not that bad. Levels are divided up into more sections, so there is more loading, and there is some framerate issues, especially late in the game, but apart from that it's great. Controls are excellent.

I think the game is overrated, but that isn't the fault of the port. Still a good game though, I started replaying it not that long ago (but stopped because uni started again

)
